Julio Jones probably shouldn’t be getting that many snaps.

Nolan Smith only had 11 snaps. I feel like we saw him doing some good stuff on at least 5 of them. I only remember 1 standing out as poor. Not sure what the others looked like but thats pretty good.

The Eagles going 16-1 with their only loss being to the Jets would be pretty funny.

15-2 with a loss to the Giants might be even more ridiculous.

A W this week will put us in full control of the top seed. A loss and things get interesting.

Oh man so he may miss more time! That’s a huge huge blow with 2 really really good DLines coming up in the next 2 weeks.

When they decided that Jake Stoll also shouldn't be getting that many snaps that sort of left them with a problem.  Playing with only 10 on offense is generally not a good plan.

95 defensive snaps and Nolan Smith still only sees 11?

A win this week and we can walk to the #1 seed. We could lose to both Dallas and Seattle and STILL get it!

A shame we're off an OT game while SF gets more rest.

D Gunn said he should be good for next week.    I trust DGunn to be more plugged in to the local situation than Rapoport.   Obviously, with a groin injury, it could linger, but if it is what DGunn said, and it follows the situation that he referenced... then he should be back.

(DGunn put out pre-game that the injury was a break down of scar tissue, just as Sua Opeta had last year.   The level of detail DGunn shared would lead me to believe he's been given more information than Rapoport.)

Agree they should sign him.

I also think Elliss can be better than what was shown on replay where he was caught flat footed with the TD pass sailing directly over his head. With a week of practice and preparation as a starter. So Im not in full panic mode.

The issue with Elliss is that he's terrific when attacking the ball but he often overruns or can't break down to make the tackle. Add that to the DL that has no idea how to contain and it would be a disaster. The Eagles need to show Jalen Carter film on how to stay on his feet and finish. If he can figure that out, this defense would take a huge step forward. Not to shoulder all of the blame on him, he's just the one I notice so many times.

Players clearly trust DGunn. If Lane was close this week in the rain, the playing in hopefully normal weather next week should work.

It’s probably a big part of the reason our offense is bipolar.  Smith and Brown are so dangerous, but they are basically the only pass catchers on offense that even need to be covered…unless it’s OZ on a yolo breakdown scramble drill.

We are already in full control of the top seed.   Just need to keep taking care of business.  ;).   Obviously though, since this matchup is against one of the 2 teams that might catch the Eagles, it carries more weight... but if the Eagles go 5-1 down the stretch here... it doesn't matter which team the loss comes against.

There's no way they can actually win a Super Bowl like this.

They are beating the contenders this way, so yes, of course.

If it didn't it wasn't much. The players usually take their shields off when there's rain and they didn't in that game. You may be thinking of Tampa with 'the rain machine'

For those freaking out due to Rapoport's tweet... this was the original report from DGunn.   I think he'll be fine.

If you mean by winning every game, no matter how frustrating and heart attack inducing the process may be... yes they CAN win the Super Bowl like this.   But, there will be way more hospital beds along the parade route than last time.

it didnt at all. I just said it because RTK keeps arguing with me that it did, but I was at that game and it did not.

Early forecast shows another rainy day in South Philly on Sunday.
