Early forecast shows another rainy day in South Philly on Sunday.

They couldn’t even get the forecast right yesterday morning, let alone a week away.

it didnt at all. I just said it because RTK keeps arguing with me that it did, but I was at that game and it did not.

It was an overcast day with some wind - the green carpet, two green teams and florescent-like lighting made for a very dreary TV experience... like the inside of a 7-11 (also no rain).

We are already in full control of the top seed.   Just need to keep taking care of business.  ;).   Obviously though, since this matchup is against one of the 2 teams that might catch the Eagles, it carries more weight... but if the Eagles go 5-1 down the stretch here... it doesn't matter which team the loss comes against.

Yeah but you know what I mean. This game is essentially the one that nails it down given how the tiebreakers will flow and barring some form of collapse.

Very much has that same feel as his kick against the Giants in '17. Let's hope the end season result is the same.

I told you this on Saturday. You are welcome

Blankenship played 116 snaps yesterday.

If I could wish for one thing for next weeks game....it'd be a lack of motherf'ing rain falling out of the sky!!   No...it actually DOESN'T have to be raining during an Eagles game!!

Part of me is convinced the Birds will play a rain game in a dome at some point.

James Palmer is from the Philly area, so will definitely know people within the Org

Agreed.   But, right now... the Eagles' magic number is 5 to clinch the #1 seed.

Time to bring back Suh to eat up some snaps?

Yeah... that's the hard part about facing the 49ers next week, who are coming off playing Thanksgiving.  They will be well rested.  Eagles will be beaten up.     BUT, if they can gut out another win, the game against Dallas takes on almost no importance.   Just win the last 4 after that and the Dallas game is irrelevant.

I don’t think the SF game is going to be close.  Not a blowout, but not close.  Either the Eagles finally flex their complete game (against SF no less) or they have their typical bad 1st half and never wrestle their way back in during the 2nd half.

I don’t have a feel for which it will be, but I think Sunday the Eagles will deliver their first non nail biter game in a long time.

A reasonable criticism of the O is the game planning for the 1st half has been pretty average or just far too inconsistent all season.  They've had to fight back a ton, which isn't sustainable yoy.  The flip side is they adjust the other way at the half. The D has been balling out, so the deficit has been an easier one to get over.

It's fair to point out the Refs issues, but let's point out their DLs cheap shots at Jurgens; at least 1 should have been a penalty in my view.  Davis took one of their IOL for a ride in the 1st quarter and he did all he could to stop Davis getting to Allen, who competed a pass; a flag (I rewound the snap and watched a couple of times to confirm).  Dawkins at LT was getting beaten up a lot and again, got away with a lot too.  Hyde/Poyer got away with some borderline naughtiness on a number of times - launching head first at Smitty when he had caught the TD.  On one shove, a Bills player launched himself head first over the pile which is a concussion waiting to happen on the recipient

The Bills bottled the big moments yesterday - it's hard to watch as a fan but they ain't clutch as an org. The Zebras didn't favour the Eagles - but Twitter seems to be paranoid about it.

A great team win and naturally Hurts will get most of the praise, but hats off to Bradberry for having one of the best games of his career. Obviously the pick was huge, but that punch out on what would have been a completion to Diggs will get lost in the shuffle. Not sure we come away with a win if he doesn't make that play and the Bills go on to score there.

The corners get trashed a lot by fans, but with each game in the books, I'm not so sure most of their woes aren't scheme related. Allen putting up those numbers when the corners played as well as they did indicates a larger issue than just them. Bradberry showed last night he's still a damn good cover corner when he needs to be.

I am almost with this line of thinking. Either i think we get the most focused and complete game by the eagles. Maybe some extra motivation from SF running their mouths all offseason and the 2 point dogs. Or the eagles continue what they have been doing past 3 weeks where they don’t show up for a quarter or two and have some turnovers. If they do that against SF i am not sure they’ll be able to fight their way back in the game if Sf plays like they have the last 3 weeks. I think SF is playing at a level right now offensively and defensively where if you do the latter it’s it’s gonna be extremely hard to pull it off.

There seems to be something about making the Niners play from behind. I believe the Eagles must not get off to a slow start on offense. I also am concerned about yesterday's defensive snap counts possibly putting them at a disadvantage as well. I am hoping for rest and light practices this week.

Dunno if I can take much more of this. This old heart of mine.

UM beats OSU on Saturday, with thanks to Ryan Day, and the Eagles beat the Bills, on a day when the Bills played their best.

Both wore me out.

Keep ‘em coming.

In my mind I understand all the reasons why Vegas would make SF the favorite, but I still just cannot believe they did.
