He's obsessive like many of the greats are. Long term he's a beast if he keeps this up.

Oh for sure! If this mindset is sustainable for him then he’s going to be a great because he’s just got that drive to win.

Man just watching the Hurts postgame presser and it’s a tough watch. He strives for perfection so much and he’s so hard on himself. You do wonder what it does to him long term.

I think he puts on a little bit of an act and poker face in these press conferences. He definitely has that in his personality, but I don’t think it’s as harsh and stone cold as he gives off.

He's got the Kobe and Jordan mindset. Border line sociopath lol. I have no emotion... ha.

Tell me you don't watch the games without telling me you don't watch the games, it's okay though.

Bryce Young was that good his junior year he masked his offensive line and hate to break it to you but SEC West isn't that elite. It's Bama and LSU that is good once every few years.

Besides Steen who got drafted highly from Bama's offensive line that turned out to be great in last few years? Even Neal, nope. Leatherwood, nope. Johan Williams, nope. Dickerson is best kid drafted from Bama in last 5 years.

Bama recruits road graders that don’t generally translate well to the NFL game, but works perfectly for what they want to run.

Makes you feel for Bryce…NFL is a different beast, he can’t mask how bad that team is there.

Oh no for sure he’s just saying what needs to be said, nothing more. But you just get the sense that he’s striving for perfection so much that he’s almost not enjoying this right now.

That's a tough spot. They got rid of literally everything to get him now they have nothing in place for him to succeed.

Can't overuse Swift is the issue. Need him for when it really matters.

This is true, but the run game as a whole they forget for stretches.  It’s mind numbingly stupid.  Gainwell and Scott both had some good runs yesterday.  I’m seriously over this QB draw though and the screen game.  They need to get creative, they have 2 of the best WR’s in the game and they do a terrible job of scheming the ball to them effectively.

I think that’s the vibe he wants to give off, but I also think he knows how to decompress and enjoy it.

All the bust talk about him I think is way premature…they’re going to ruin him quick though.

The draw and screens keep teams honest to back off the overzealous pass rushes. Although I'd prefer these going to the backs more often than the QB and the WRs.

most underrated move ever made by Howie?

Bo made the point today sorta similar to what I said during the game. He thinks Sirianni is more responsible for the offense early in the game and Johnson is more responsible for the offense late and halftime adjustments. Given that Sirianni makes the game plans and designs throughout the week. So the team struggling in the first half and being better late could be a sign that Johnson is doing well and the struggles in the first half are more Sirianni's game plans not working.

Yeah, calmly shaking his head after that FG was like Jordan simply nodding when Nova sunk that 3 vs NC.

I was agreeing with you that they will whine. It is who they are.

I hope so and I’m not saying that’s the case I’m just saying how it looks. And of course we don’t see everything and Hurts tells us what he wants us to hear.

Typically they do, when called at the appropriate times.  Which most of the time they aren’t, or called to the wrong person.  The INT on the tip was a screen to Stoll? Just why?  The amount of screens that Smith sees is ridiculous.

I think the worry of overusing Swift has been blown a bit out of proportion. IMO, they aren't using him enough. At some point, you just have to play your best players and guys who put you in the best position to win games. Hell, Lane Johnson is more injury prone than Swift.

I think if he didn't have interest he'd have said something like I love Frank, but we're happy with our staff right now.

maybe add him as our offensive version of Fangio this year? to me Reich is just one of those guys who is a better coordinator then HC. he can focus just offense. i wouldnt be mad if they bought Reich back to Philly.

I’ll say this… This teams resilience is great. This team finds ways to win even when everything looks bleak. This team is 10-1 with some huge wins in terms of who they have beat. And so this team has earned our trust. And yet… I’m worried about this team. Eventually one of these close fine margin games is going to catch them out and that could be in the play offs. I mean I can literally picture it in the play offs. I can see the players stood there dejected and the announcers saying "it was one game too many of playing it so close”.

Tra Thomas thinks he did fine. No offense, but Thomas may know a little bit more about oline play than you do.

Its not about me. Go watch every snap.

Those numbers are BS. 4 different Bills got instant pressure past him.

Watch the play where Hurts runs into FG range in OT. Free pass to Hurts but Hurts escapes up in the pocket and runs.

Watch the play before the pick when Von Miller lines up on Driscoll for the first time. Instant pressure.

Rosseau sacks Hurts by running right past Driscoll.

Its all there on the replay.

Because he was a good OC, not a good HC.  That happens to a lot of coordinators, who then go back to doing what they did well as a coordinator and have success.

1000% agree with you.

The walkoff was such a great call by Reese.
