I hope youre not counting the Jets game because it didnt rain in East Rutheford that day.

It's widely been publicized and you can see in the replays the game was played in rain.

Agreed, good deal for him - on the other side of the ledger the profit margin for owning a franchise especially if heavily financed doesn’t quite add up.

He’s making a killing, he paid cash for the Mavs with the money he made selling Broadcast.com to Yahoo! He paid 285 million.

At the time he had pretty much cornered the market for all things streaming on the internet.
One cool thing he did though was take care of all his employees, even the janitors became extremely wealthy. I went to work for Yahoo! Broadcast shortly after he sold to them. You wouldn’t believe the amount of 21 - 24 yr old millionaires that stayed on with guaranteed employment contracts.

Oh and he did bring a title to the Mavs. I just hated that he became political.

Earl Thomas? Never got popped for roids from what I recall. Whole defense was probably on Adderall, but I don't think he or anyone else there ever tested positive for anabolics.

More of a joke to explain his metamorphosis.

I remember quite a bit of snow, no rain

WTF is up with the NFL giving two teams in a row extra days off before the Eagles

Well at least they were nice enough to give us a bye before the KC game (although they had one to!)

Was there purple rain?

Eagles blitzed Bills' Josh Allen on 17 of 52 pass plays (32.7%) Sunday. Sent 5 rushers after him 11 times and 6 rushers 6 times. Not much success with it. Allen was 13-for-17 for 164 yards when Eagles sent extra rushers.

Is it just me or do almost all the blitzes seem like they are delayed blitzes that just dont get there in time. What's the matter with lining everyone up at the line and add the pressure to the offense. Here we come stop us. And you can always drop back off the blitz if you want an element of suprise.

While it's been a minute, I remember the board being split like you suggested after the draft, but over the next five years it REALLY shifted to "We should have took Thomas".  BG didn't become a starter until year 6 (full time year 7) while Thomas ripped off 6 straight pro bowls.  After that, Thomas started getting injured and missing games year after year while BG became entrenched as the starter.

Always better to take a DE than a S (my favorite football position).

He probably had to keep adjusting the antennas

Good stuff

It would have been awesome if Shaq Lawson ripped that guy from out of the stands and pummeled him

As the replay on NFL Network ends, that was an all time great regular season win for the Eagles. What a wild razor thin close game.

As much as I’m concerned for this game coming up, it’s fun to have a new rival and rivalry feel game. I think sports overall are missing that. The build up has been great and San Fran has been waiting a year for this game. There is some serious hostility and it makes it more fun. Makes the stakes higher.

After driving the wasteland that is I40 and then I30 in Arkansas today (and folks think Wyoming is the dregs), I can only conclude that Sarah Huckabee Sanders is planning some tax cut for the rich in the state to pay for the "lecturn” and offsetting that with funding via speed traps.  I must have seen at least a dozen, most with lights flashing to signify success.  At one point we came to a dead stop at speed (70 trucks/75 all others) due to one of those and once past it noted cops and an ambulance headed that direction with lights aglow (bet causing that with an ill located speed stop will never be recorded,) Trash state using freeway speed traps at risk of motorists for funding.  Meanwhile pedestrian deaths rise because they won’t patrol streets that matter.  Thanks for allowing me to spew my anger.

Good to know.

Visiting a buddy in Colorado via road trip in 2024.

Will avoid that state at all costs.

Speed cameras on highways/freeways seems different. I’m not sure if that’s common, but out here in Phoenix/Scottsdale and surrounding areas they’re usually only on roads with 45 mph or less speed limits. Don’t recall seeing any on highways. That seems dangerous with cars coming to a quick deceleration noticing the cameras. Cars almost come to a halt on the 45 mph zones when cameras are noticeable.
