If he has offset language in his contract it will cost us zero dollars to sign him. Howie has added Robey and Byard in season, both excellent additions. Why not Leonard?

It’s not zero but it would be minimum. Offset language offsets the burden the Colts have.

Yeah, I-80 can be brutal.  I rarely drive it.

I'm not the biggest Shaq Leonard guy at this stage in his career, but if Cunningham is hurt, we MUST sign him. We're one injury away from Ben Vansumeren playing real snaps. He was bad in pre-season.

I heard he was going to lock down Travis Kelce. The freakbeast that he is - just go look at his RAS

Gave them the Kelce laugh in their face and they couldn't handle it lol.

Are you new to the blog? Don’t you know that screens are frowned upon in here?😳

I have complained about screens before on here. Less running them (unless it’s something where it’s run like 5 times in a row) and more about who’s on the receiving end of them. i don’t think quez is good at them (blocking or receiving end of them). Unfortunately i think julio is just done.  id like for brown and swift to be on the receiving end of them more if we are gonna run them but have to have better blocking from other guys if we are going too.

Imo when you go back and watch swift with the lions, the one thing they did a great job with him was using him as a threat in the passing game. I’d actually argue it might be his best quality. he’s a mismatch in the passing game. He might not be cmc but I’d argue he’s top 5 at his position as receiver especially in space. I think with goedert out and teams selling out to limit brown that swift is a guy we should get more involved in he passing game. Against the niners with that pass rush, i think you could get him on a screen and potentially hit a big play.

Better than Junior Colson? I don’t think so.

LB rankings all over the place really. One underrated LB that is an impact player that can run with TE's and has plus size is the guy from OU, Stutsman. The guy makes plays. He is somewhat of a throwback type of player in the middle of the second level. as has already been said Barrett is probably the best of them, but likely will not fall to late first round.

Yep I saw someone mention PS online and that would make sense if he wasn't playing this week.  There are only 6 weeks every week is significant.  Is he really going to sign somewhere else to be a backup LB for a playoff run?  The other possibility is that his physical isn't great and that Dallas didn't even make an offer

He can be signed off the PS by another team can't he?

I actually agree with him that they need to get the ball into AJ Brown’s hands early in the game. They need to figure a way to get him open and get him going. Imo the reason why the passing offense has been inconsistent since the fourth quarter of that Dallas game is teams rare lose making everyone else beat them but him. Having goedert back makes it harder for teams to do that

Wait.... does he think AJ Brown is a RB?  This shouldn't be a question but we all know how f'n dim he is.

He can choose not to

If there is offset language he’ll get the same whether we pay him $1 or $5M. But yeah, for us it would  be minimal.

I wasn't aware of any Cunningham injury.  Who is Shaq Leonard? Why has no one posted this news yet?

According to the colts fans, he has no burst or lateral agility left.  I wouldn't expect much from him.

Eagles fans said that about Dawk too when we went to Denver, only to watch him get named to second team all pro in his first season there.  Sometimes fans will lie to themselves to rationalize things ex post facto. Aside from that, even if Leonard has lost a step, he still might be serviceable or perhaps even better than anyone we have on the roster.

Apparently he has a back issue at the moment.  Maybe rest will help him.

Zach Cunningham might be related to randle. Shaq Leonard used to be called Darius. Idk blog weeded a lot of people out

Teppers comments today managed to both make him and his FO completely incompetent as well as throwing the QB you stupidly traded up for under the bridge at the same time.

Very impressive.

Teppers has got to be the worst owner in footbal.  Well, it's a competition between him and Bill Bidwell at any rate.

Who in their right mind would take over that job in Carolina?  They are literally going to get the absolute bottom of the barrel of candidates.

Uh oh, David Carr doesn't see a scenario where the Eagles can win this game.

Carr is a real 49ers fanboy.  I like how he refers to the 49ers as 'we'.
