I love it. Puts all the pressure on the 49ers and gives the Eagles motivation.

I'll take it a step further -- if we win this game, I think it mentally breaks the 49ers. They spent an entire offseason crying that they would have won the NFCCG if not for "bad luck" (never mind they tried to block Reddick with a backup TE and got their QB killed). Basically, they've protected their fragile egos by refusing to accept they lost. If they lose with Purdy, as a favorite, in Philly...I could easily see them going into the tank. They are a mentally weak team with a head coach who is a great play designer but terrible leader and gameday coach. 

They and the Cowboys are similar that they have to front-run and be bullies. When someone punches back, they fold.

The thought of him coming back too soon with nothing really to gain is incredibly shortsighted. Might as well let it completely heal instead of trying to set some kind of recovery record...just makes zero sense to me. I wonder what the chances of it rupturing again are? If that happens his career is over I would think.

I am not a complete believer in stats, however this particular stat is telling. A lot stats can be used to fit whatever narrative is trying to be pushed, but stats like this and others cannot be brushed off. The main main stat is W/L, thats all that matters to me.

Both should do it... share the fun. Reed did light him up last year and caused a fumble. They're real tough until they run up against a team that's just as physical.

If they get behind and the eagles are in control they are gonna get a bunch of unsportsmanlike penalties. They remind me of the 2014 Seahawks. when they knew they were losing the Super Bowl after the int. they couldn’t handle it and guys unraveled and got a bunch of penalties.
