Just keep transferring

I don’t blame him. His coach just left for Michigan State. He had a nice year under Smith so I wouldn’t be surprised if he followed him.

I don't disagree with your bolded statement, but I don't think Driscoll is going to be a good value at any new free agent contract he gets.  So keeping the eight together will be a challenge.

I don't think Driscoll is going to get any kind of "he's going to be a starter for us!" contract from any team. He's going to be looking at veteran backup money from any team, so I wouldn't be surprised if the Eagles find a way to make it work for them. I wouldn't be opposed to that.

Whose the odd man out then? No way we have 7 active WR's on gameday.

He’ll have to give up his Nasty Nate trophy if he plays well.

Zentner won that one in a landslide.

If he joins the Cowboys it's going to be gross.

He came out of retirement to join the Steelers instead of staying here. He's not going to sign back here a week later.

Depends, if he's on the roster, he gets paid siginificantly more. Also, Eagles playoffs compensation should be higher than the Steelers. Not sure how bad he wants to play and may just like the easy money.

I’d love to bring ertz back for the stretch run. I’m guessing he gets an opportunity for more snaps elsewhere. a team like ravens since they lost andrews.

The OT from Oregon State is one I think could be a great late 1st Round pick.

Funny you focused on that guy. SI mock from earlier this month had the Cowboys taking him with the 21st pick. they project 5 OT will be taken in the first round...and a couple of OL late. I think some of the higher rated OT may slip a little, the position in general...everything changes leading up to and once the combine takes place. BTW, SI has the Eagles taking a CB from Alabama - Arnold. Mock drafts are seldom even close to accurate though.

If it plays out that way, I wouldn't be opposed either.

No lie schmoopie, who does know her s*** when it comes to football, was surprised to find out he was still in the league prior to last weeks game.

Ertz to the Ravens (not us) seems the obvious move.

As it stands, contenders for a Super Bowl ring are:

Eagles, Chiefs, Ravens, 49ers

Chiefs have Kelce, Ravens have had Andrews, Whiners have Kittle

Comparing the Eagles and Niners defenses.

I think the Eagles are better at DT, they're better at EDGE(Reddick>Bosa and Sweat is better than the Niners' next best rusher). They're better at CB. I'll take Slay and Bradberry over Ward and Lenoir. With the injury to Hufanga they're better at Safety. With him out the Niners are nothing special at safety.

The Niners are significantly better at LB. That one's a blowout.

Still, with the Eagles more talented in most areas, the Niners' defense should not be that much more productive than the Eagles. I've said all season something philosophically is off with this defense and particularly the pass defense should be better than it is even with their weaknesses.

My point was he was already under contract with the Eagles a week or two ago. Either he wanted to come out of retirement and didn't want to be here or he wanted to come out of retirement and we didn't want him here.

Ward and Lenoir grab and hold on every single play.  Those guys are a DPI waiting to be called, especially Ward.

I am fine with the Cowboys TE room right now. Not pleased they wasted a #2 pick on TE last draft (Schoonmaker is decent but more a blocking TE), Ferguson is pretty good and getting better, you could see his athleticism last year as a rookie.

Ravens *had* Andrews. He's out for the season now. They have Isaiah Likely now in there who isn't bad though.

Fair play Fred Warner. Your comments lower my level of irritation toward the Niners by 0.01%

I don't think he was guaranteed any spots on the Eagles preseason roster. Morrow didn't even make the final cut. But now it could be guaranteed, since they are so injured and desperate. He took some more time off maybe realizing he still had the itch or may just want the money. Hard to say the deal there.

Calcaterra to IR and bring Zach home at the vet minimum?

I'd do it.

I'd bet he's on the coaching staff next year, assuming his playing days are done.

Disgraceful that they are cutting Ward at this point.  He's a team leader.  Howie is having a really bad week.
