How many times do you need to watch them walk down the field before y’all see how horrible our coordinator is?

What offense have we made look bad this season? When have we forced an offense to do anything f other than what they want?

And they had the timeouts to use, so its not like the Eagles calling them gave the 49ers some magical advantage.   I agree it wasn't super smart to take the TOs, but it wasn't some ridiculous stupid move or anything.   The Eagles didn't have a 3rd timeout either... so there was no difference.  And they could have thrown the ball too if they were worried about the clock... they weren't or more exactly in terms of running out of time.  They had plenty of time... and timeouts.  Nothing burger.

The eagles using their timeouts made no sense, because even with using them they would've had no time to do anything. The niners may or may not have taken theirs, they either would have had to take them or run hurry up the entire time. It makes no sense to give them that time using your own time outs if your goal is to get the ball back.

Don't take the timeouts, and the noners make a decision. Do they want to run the clock down or score a TD? They don't use their timeouts and have to run hurry up, they don't have time to find a perfect play. Use their timeouts and score a TD we end up with the ball with 40 seconds and two timeouts instead of 40 seconds with 0. We made the niners job easier using our own timeouts

Unfortunately need to get a stop first.  Although we have definitely squandered our initial second half series before. I think we did last week.

Maybe get some mojo on D with some adjustments and get a stop.

Need a stop right out of ht

The offense and defense do such a poor job of complementing each other. Defense starts out lights out the first two drives and the offense can only get six points. Mann hits two punts inside the 15 after the offense struggles and the defense rolls over.

I’m about to finish mine.

I remember the good old days when it was on every store shelf in the country and under $50.

We used to be a proper country!

Can’t play scared

With 33 seconds no timeouts you think they are going length of the field to score a td or getting 35 yards to get a fg? Highly unlikely against a defense in SF that has given up 24+ points once this year. If they had timeouts remaining I’d agree be aggressive but they had none and the offense looked lost out there since the first quarter.

The defense needs to come up with a stop coming out of half.  The D line dominated at first but now they are quick passing us to death.  What's the adjustment?

The offense needs to run the ball on 1st and 2nd down with Swift.  Keep the slants going to Brown.  Hit them double moves when they start to jump it.

The defense can come out and get a stop but the offense will just piss down their own leg anyway and go 3 and out

Lets face it, between the lack of short to intermediate passes, not enough run calls

amd the defense playing the bend and break

The Eagles just aren't good enough.  They just aren't.

This one is a big fat L

The 49ers are good, rested and healthy. This was always going to be tough.

I'm more disappointed in our inability to run the ball. We had 7 called runs in the first half, despite being up for most of it. Yes our pass protection has held up, but the 49ers are daring us to run it with their coverages

They give up another 7 to start the 2nd half and that will remove what’s left of my confidence in the typical comeback they’ve become known for.

They will, get ready

Yeah.  Shanahan wouldn't have been able to call timeout and a play during the timeout.  Come on.   There are things to complain about and focus on, but that's not really anything.  No change in the outcome.   If we don't call the timeouts, they still do the same thing they do, but we likely have even less time for those 2 horrible plays.

I'd rather focus on the boneheaded plays by the QB not throwing the ball when he has 10 hours to make a decision... and the fact that they've completely gone away from the slants that were working great.

Agreed. It’s been an issue the entire year, even though we are 10-1.

How are we blaming Quez for that? It was PI

It was, but it still hit him in the hands. Smith would've caught that

Imo that’s pretty much the ball game. Falling behind 2 scores I’m not sure you will get the stops you need to get yourself completely back in the game. Besides the 3 game stretch where the niners lost, they really don’t turn the ball over. 7 of their 10 turnovers were during that 3 game stretch. Meaning the other 8 games they had 3

You don't understand what I'm saying. Yes, they could've used their own timeouts to score. That, in turn, saves OUR timeouts which we could have used with 40 seconds instead of having 40 seconds with 0 timeouts. Gives an actual chance at end of half points instead of lying down

We’re a very disjointed team. Every week seems like week 1 and no one has learned from any mistakes. Hurts holds the ball forever. We neglect the run. We play 12 yards away from any target. We run the same defense over and over no matter how much it gets abused.

Hopefully they’re just passing to tire out the DL so we can run easier in the 2nd half. Idk how to fix the defense. I mean I’d call a plethora of coverages and concepts. But that’s a crazy idea let’s just play 4 deep and leave the middle and flats wide open all game.

Not sure it’s an inability as much as they just aren’t. Coming into today niners were 2nd in the nfl vs. the run. I’m guessing our gameplan was to attack their corners and safeties

Yeah, they’re about a hundred in my area if you can even find them in stock.

Regular old buffalo trace sells out within minutes of stores opening.

They would have called their timeouts much closer to 0 than we did.   They would have wound the clock down to 20 seconds before they even thought about calling the first one.  Which is what I'm saying and why it's a non-issue.

Our run game is nonexistent. The longest wa probably the Hurts scramble. Everything else has been for like 1-2 yards. Agree though, we need to stay with it and not throw, throw, throw

Gotta catch that REED!

catch the damn INT.
