Hurts needs to up his game.

Hurts never climbs the pocket and throws in those situations. He always runs, I’d love to see him throw as he approaches the los just to make the ability to pump fake available

We also need to start giving Penny a chance. My last hope is that they use the Giants and Arizona games as a warmup period for him for the playoffs if he's so fragile that they have always just been planning for like a 4-6 game run to play the season out.

The physicality of this defense just doesn't exist, besides in the d-line. Very discouraging and eye opening against a very physical and tough Niners team. 

I don't mind the decision. If you don't think they will get a stop then the game is over anyway. They need to at some point one way or the other. Might as well be here.

Some here made the argument that tackles were bad.  And that VanSumeren leading in tackles was evidence he was bad.

I'm watching the Eagles miss tackles.  I would think you might want a guy who made a lot of tackles. 

VanSumeren might not be able to cover a receiver like a cornerback can,  but he made a lot of tackles.  There weren't a lot of cases where VanSumeren missed tackles and 10 yard gains turned into 30 yard gains.

Watched some of his highlights this past week, he’s pretty dang quick.

He's just not a great QB. He just isn't. He's good and plays on an absolutely stacked offense

this is evidence that we have to invest in some young DB talent that isnt undrafted. also actual talent at LB not just them thinking any cheap option will work.

Yep. Window is about to be slammed shut after the core vets retire. Flash in the pan team that thinks it's gonna be a dynasty. Oh well, it was almost fun while it lasted.

Sirianni threw in thr white flag knowing we will have to play them again if we want to go back to the Super Bowl.

It’s a horrible decision. You’re down by multiple TDs and your defense can’t stop ANYTHING.

That’s the difference in the game! First downs! They get 6-7 yards a pop, even running it and we cannot stop them.

finally a solid hit from this defense. 

The defensive line is getting its ass kicked by an OL that isn’t very good outside of one player. 

We need the defense to step up and make a play - either a stop or better yet a turnover

I also hope that he sees that he can have a big impact here since we suck at LB eith Cunningham out.
