I don't really know if this is fair, Hurts had centuries to throw. I think the adjustment I would have made is that I would have ran rub routes CONSTANTLY attacking the outsides of the field. And I mean CONSTANTLY. Because the way I see it, if their thing is to try to blanket downfield, then you can take the yardage if you can beat the linebackers to the outside.

I would have rub routed them on slants, posts, pretty much everything. Felt like we were trying to get down the field a little TOO much.

49ers still have Seahawks, Ravens and Rams.

I'm willing to bet they lose at least one of those games. 

There are still 5 games left for them to have CMC, Deebo or Kittle get injured which will screw their season up.

A little premature to say we're not winning next week. Like I said, I think the team actually improved. The real issue is the FILM we put out. We're going to have to overhaul some things because we're going to see very similar gameplans after this.

That’s not necessarily true. Could wind up having Detroit getting upset by the 6 seed and then still facing Dallas.

That's what bothers me the most. They looked so much more physical out there and our defense wanted nothing to do with it. CMC still bashing right through us as I'm typing. Still think they need a better more physical RB to pair with Swift. Maybe if we even had the option to use a player like that it could shift the game and get us momentum but nope.

I need this to be very clear. If Brian Johnson is NOT asleep at the wheel, and he definitely did not seem to be this game despite the outcome, we can match up with 95% of the teams in the NFL just fine. I'd like to see if he builds on what DID work, or if he simply reverts. A lot of the issues today were actually not on him. So that's really interesting.
