Why are we playing starters?

Why are the starters still in?

Is there any real reason why players who rarely play can't play now?

Is it that important,  at this point,  that Brown and Smith get all the targets?

I'm watching Deebo Samuel just outrun the dbs.  I'm seeing all of the 9ers outrun the dbs and lbs.

Nolan Smith is very fast.
Kelee Ringo is very fast.
Ben VanSumeren is very fast.

Britain Covey is a very agile punt returner.

Lets see these players on the field. 

This game mattered much more to the 49ers than the Eagles... same as the KC game mattered more to the Eagles than the Chiefs.   Tough spot for the Eagles... but this doesn't matter when playoff time comes around.  

 

The real season is the post-season.  Eagles may not have enough when that rolls around, but at least they will have the same rest as the opponent they face in the NFC CG.  Granted, if they don't get the 1 seed, that means no bye, but depending on what happens down the stretch with Dallas and Detroit, the 2 seed could be locked up before that last Giants game.  So, that becomes a bye.  

 

No need for folks to be lining up on the Walt Whitman bridge.

In that case, I think, we'd get the division going all the way down to conference record. Head to head would be equal, division record equal, common opponents equal, (they beat the Jets, we'd have beat AZ, then conference record, we'd win 2 losses to their 3. If we get the division, they'd then have us on the head to head.

Ok.  So we lost a game to a good team.  Played on short weeks and a tough schedule.  Gotta get up for the Cowboys next week and really punch them in the mouth.  This team doesn't like losing.

you hope theyd fix the issues as they kept eeking out wins. But they have not. Arguably, theyve gotten worse. Namely Hurts.

We certainly weren’t as good as our record. We were fortunate to get some bounces our way. SF beat our ass so bad there was no chance for them to gift us the game.

Yeh they definitely put a premium on being the one seed when they changed the format. Seeds 2-7 are all wildcards, some just get to play at home. Not a fan of the change just to add one playoff team per conference.

We didn’t just lose, we got crushed. Losing a close game is heartbreaking, but getting blown out is worrisome.

Just thank whatever god you believe in they won the last two games they probably should have lost also.
