Lol. Who cares about how the game was reffed? Seriously.

It was brought up, so I commented on it.  If you don't care, then don't comment.    Now we are all surly.

Youre in here talking about the trash that SF has talked. Get a grip. We are talking about thing that actually took place on the football field. Youre in to the interpersonal drama storylines like some teenage girl TMZ follower.

I thought the protection today was fine. Hurts’ clock was extremely off and it feels like he’s just trying to play hero ball like the Olamide TD from last week. It’s very Wentz-esque. I don’t know if it’s the receivers not getting open or Hurts, but it’s a disaster.

Not fired but I could see a fine coming his way. He probably shouldn’t be that close to the sideline tbh.

Fine, probably... as should Greenlaw, because it doesn't matter who it is, you can't throw a punch in the NFL.  He did.

The 2017 Eagles got killed by the Seahawks (score doesn't fully reflect it).

2021 Rams got blown out twice and won a ring.

Let's see in January.

That they got blown out isn't even my concern. Blowouts happen. My concern is they've played 12 games and have exactly 0 games where they played clean and in control for 4 quarters. This is who they are. It was going to cost them sooner or later, and a high probability it costs them more.

Abandoning the quick slant after the first two drives is baffling.  The Niners couldn't stop it.

I see it as a feature of being out coached - if the refs are calling a loose game, why play off coverage?

Hopefully, we sign Leonard, Ertz and Suh.  This team needs some improvement.

I don't know that Leonard still has it but it can't be worse.  Getting Cunningham back hopefully will help but even then offenses are attacking the middle of the field.

Julio Jones does literally nothing for this team.  Might as well be able to line up in 2 TE sets.

Marlon ain't cutting it.  We need another DT in the rotation that can eat up snaps.

Listen we played 3 games in 13 days and against a team that had a 10 games rest.  I have confidence this team will bounce back next week.  Win next week and get our mojo back.

We lost to a QB who can’t throw the ball 20 yards downfield.

We needed a competent TE to handle the middle of the field.

I refuse to choose that line of thinking. They got ****slapped up and down the field all day in their own house.

They got more than ****slapped, more like **** piledrived, then a macho man elbow off the top rope then when our limp beaten body is laid out on the mat it's put into a camel clutch

Eagles lost the game, no doubt.  BUT, they weren't the recipients of any favorable calls, quite the opposite, nearly every close call, went the wrong way.  And the way it worked out, I think that's because this crew generally doesn't seem to be throwing the flags very much, and the 49ers benefit from that.  Their WRs are wide open constantly, so we couldn't get close enough to make a difference, but their DBs were all over the WRs, so they benefitted... and it's likely the same in most of their games.

Yep. The outcome was not decided by refs. After the emotional high on the first two drives on D, we got demolished. Only change that Dessai can make is to come up with some more blitzing to maybe force the issue and maybe come up with some turnovers. You can’t allow teams to constantly drive down the field over and over again. Do something - take some risks!

None of that will work though if they can’t friggin tackle! That has been horrendous for quite some time.

One can be extremely dirty and the other can be dirty.    Warner's slapping at Hurts after the Tush Push penalty would fit the latter category for me.

Good thing we leave the field wide open 10-15 yards right down the middle on a consistent basis.

Didn’t have to because Shanahan figured out how to outflank our penny front with the toss and the check downs in the flat.

Yes, I’m talking about how they straight up punked on our own field after they talked all loads of S. You’re whining about DPI down three scores.

Some of you may know Ive been very positive in support of the team during the last bunch of come from behind wins. While you whiners complain its over, Im here telling you theyre going to win.

At this point where its clear this team is too tired to overcome their flaws, and going in to dallas still tired, while Dallas has extra rest Im here to tell you we have already lost next week.

I seriously dont even want Hurts to play.

We will beat seattle convincingly, and dominate the remaining week teams. And still secure the #1 seed. Weve already lost. Let Hurts try to get right. Or at least better than he was today.

But we would have only lost by two scores if the refs weren’t blatantly against us.

No argument there. Greenlaw was way more in the wrong. I think Dom just got caught up in the moment but he really shouldn’t be trying to intervene for on field things.

The way he held the ball forever definitely cost the offense a chance at at least one TD, because he turned what should have been at worst an incomplete throw out the back of the end zone into a 15+ yard loss when he just fell over.  Not good enough from Hurts today.

Not good enough from the defense either.  But, part of it is the physical nature of the 49ers and the beating that the defense has had over the last couple weeks leading up to this game.  Spirit was willing but the flesh was weak.

IMO, there is no fix or solve to the way this defense plays. I’m not even faulting an individual player etc., it’s the lack of talent on that side of the ball. Most of these guys would not start on many other teams (except the d-line).

I can’t see how they can fix this huge issue. It’s been a problem all year. Our defense is who we thought they were - not good.

That's not really true. Morrow probably wouldn't start, but Slay and Bradberry have been starter quality but are slowing down. Blank actually is too, but he's a second year UDFA. Keep in mind Jordan Poyer was a started in this league for several years, so was Kurt Coleman, but both of them took some time to develop the knowledge needed to be a consistent and reliable starter. Not everything is about talent in every position, but sometimes when you lack the talent in several spots, you run into issues like these.

I've said it before, the defense has been about average this year. It's not like they've been bad, they've been mid. Just mid.

Why the hell did Dom get tossed? People break things up on the sidelines all the time to keep players apart

Organizational philosophy. My biggest concern about this defense is that Desai isn't the coach of it, it's more Howie and Lurie. Meaning they dictate the style of play. That's two coordinators now who are perfectly fine giving up the entire middle of the field as long as they don't get beat deep no matter the cost. And never adjust or change. At this point it's clearly their philosophy from up top the organization and they will hire coaches completely based on this philosophy.
