True. This could have played into it. 
The short passing game has been a big problem for this team the whole year. Our D gives it up and our O doesn’t do it enough. IMO 🤷‍♂️

I'm saying this not to say "wow,  the Eagles have Ben VanSumeren,  with a better RAS than Deebo Samuel, and he was a Fullback for the Michigan Wolverines,  so he could do the same kind of things as Deebo Samuel."

I'm saying this because he's on the roster as an ILB,  and Ben VanSumeren has the ability to not be outrun by Deebo, or out muscled by him.    Having someone in the backfield who won't be outrun by Deebo would be good.

Also,  how about Kelee Ringo?  The idea here is to prevent 4 yard dump off passes to become long TDs because, why?  Not strong enough to tackle and not fast enough to chase?   Ringo ran 4.36 40 and he's a cb.   Can't he be out there doing general chasing down and preventing long tds?

Our defense had 1 PD. If you recall, it was the first play of the game. A defensive lineman. 0 PDs for the secondary or LBs. Putrid.
