They ran right at us after that and there wasn’t a damn thing we could do about it.

Run D was non existent tonight.

Disappointing is an understatement.

7-8 yards on 1st down runs

Tbh I've wanted this for a few weeks since before he got shitcanned. I'm just wondering... how will Howie, the FO et al look at things following this ugly loss?

If they are smart, they will look at it the same way that they should have been looking at it before this game.   Reich is smart.  Reich is familiar to some of the coaches (specifically Sirianni and Stoutland) and he's familiar with a significant number of the offensive players (specifically, Johnson, Kelce, Mailata and Goedert).   This offense is likely similar enough to what he knows that he's not coming in cold, but different enough that his fresh eyes could offer new insights.

It's a smart move to add Reich, IF he's willing.

Just a heads up this week the media is going to be blowing the 49ers while severely doubting the Eagles.

Just deal with it.  They won and proved they are the better team currently.   Doesn't mean things can't change in the next 5 weeks.

It will all be forgotten in a few hours when the good stuff kicks in...

I'm drunk. I'm probably going to go ish on my neighbors doorstep. He's a Dolphins fan

Not just the 49ers. There’s what 3 teams at 9-3? NFC is wide open and they did not look like a team worthy of the 1 seed.

Dallas and Detroit meet... so one of them definitely takes an L (and if both take a tie, so much the better).

49ers might drop one, I'm thinking the Ravens.
Dallas likely drops at least one, I'm thinking the Dolphins.
Detroit likely drops at least one, I'm thinking Cowboys and Vikings... maybe even the Broncos.

You should sheet on his driveway too.

Right behind his tires.

I suspect if we lose to Dallas and win out we’ll still be the one seed. Dallas and SF will stumble one more time.

No, bc if the niners don’t lose at least one more game the the eagles drop to 2. The eagles have to win out if the niners don’t lose at least me more.

I'll yell fins up at his ring camera as I show him my dirty mud flap

Parsons follows the blog

A Cowboy complaining about officiating is the most ironic thing that I think I've ever seen.

"There was no clear recovery, we couldn't tell which one of the 6 Eagles players the ball was actually under, so the ball goes back to the Cowturds."

Cowboys have to go to Buffalo and go to Miami and play Detroit. Even if we lose to Dallas we likely win the division anyway.

all this game decides is whether or not the NFCCG is in sf or Philly, but even that isn’t assured because SF still has to play Baltimore

The Niners back 7 absolutely locked us down. The pass rush for them wasn’t even that good, partly by design, but we had to try too many YOLO balls because they had us smothered.

Of course Hurts taking two of the dumbest sacks ever hurt too.

I don't know how much guys were open but he's been dicking around in the pocket holding the ball too long.  He either has to throw it or take off.  Make quicker decisions.

They need to get the run game going again too.  Swift is good but I don't view him as a #1 lead back.  They need to use everyone and pound the rock.

They suck. Only viable loss I see is vs Baltimore.

Seattle may suck.  But, Seattle is also a division rival and crazy things can happen in division games... and Seattle has 10 days rest now while SF is doing the bicoastal flight home.   It's possible.   Remember, Dallas lost to the Cardinals.  (Pittsburgh just did too!)

Name one player on this defense that could cover the likes of a Deebo Samuel.

That will be their eventual downfall.

And what's up with Carter? Where is first 8 games Carter?

Hes been very effective every week he just doesnt finish sacks. He gets Mamulas.

Back to the well next year at RB

Blake Corum would look good in Eagles green RD3

Defense is getting throated every game.

Not sure advanced metrics are required when a team goes for 6 straight TD drives.  Seems the 'standard' metrics tell the tale pretty well.

They have to figure out how to run the ball better, that's their biggest change right now. Their inability to run has negatively impacted the team in so many ways. It's killing them. It's unrecognizable from last season.

they are the new seattle legion of boom secondary that gets away with penalties in the secondary on every single possession.

Its ok if our defense plays just as physically. But in our terrible zone coverages, the CBs arent close enough to be able to hold their WRs. We need to play man. Especially against that team that has 0 down field threats.

That would be great but I don’t see it happening. Seattle is more likely to beat Philly.

Certainly collapses the pocket.

But need those sacks.

Could have been the difference on some drives today.

Just a heads up, if you're gonna act like this after every game and insult people with petty remarks, you're going to get banned at some point based on how the other bannings went. So I'd recommend cooling off and sleeping one off. Up to you on if you want to heed my advice.

Sack that QB you can take a sack to your face
