Fourth, slay isn’t awful but he’s definitely not as good as he has been the last two years. Age will do that. Bradberry is what he’s always been. One year good next year lousy. It’s been his history. Got very little quality depth behind them as ringo has shown nothing. Ricks isn’t ready. And jobe is also not ready and likely just a JAG.

CB depth is a major issue with McPherson / Maddox out. We have a lot of young guys but as you Ringo is far far far from ready but we knew that when picking him. Agree on Jobe, and I'd say there is a decent chance Ricks is the same. Both are UDFA - if either turns into anything other than JAG who cracks the NFL for a few years, it'd be a major coup but odds are well against that.

I do agree we’ve seen some real attitude red flags.  The question is if he’s redirectable.

Agreed. theress till some time to find that out. Luckily we are in year 1. He probably has another year, or 2 before theyll decide if hes worth over 100 million dollars.

My dad has had covid and is still testing positive over a week later. Mostly a cold, cough, and low fever. Hes now mostly just congested in mornings and nights, feeling a lot better but still testing positive.

People stopped getting the boosters, so I expect infections to be a little more severe than they were last year when most people had protection and it really felt mostly like a minor cold.

Luckily, its still not very severe. But I think if people continue to be stupid, we will eventually begin seeing more severe cases again.

Dang sorry to hear about that.  Hopefully he will be good soon.

Yeah, I thought I had sinusitis because it was mainly a head cold feeling.  Never really had a temperature.  Now just mainly sinus pressure and headache.

Bottom line….having missed the game…..

The Eagles have an immensely talented offense that is still ironing out inconsistencies that probably will not be eliminated this year.

They do not have a good defense.  Maybe it’s terrible. Maybe just bad.  Maybe just mediocre.  But it’s DEFINITELY not good.

If you get hot and lucky, you can’t ride that pretty far.  If you get unlucky, then you can easily be 1 and done against anyone.

I think that’s essentially who they are.

While everyone wants to rip Johnson, it doesn’t seem like Stoutland has a lot of answers for getting the run game going either.

Trying to consistently stick with it would help. I don’t think it’s as good as last year but I do think part of the problem is they go with running the ball like three times and then completely don’t run the ball for like a quarter or 2. then remember that they have D’Andre Swift and he busts one off. Some of this is you gotta just stick with it even if it’s not great at first because you guys are good enough to get it going. To me the run attack would still be close to the top of the league but we fall behind in games and just frankly avoid relying on it. It’s like we want to prove hurts and the passing games is elite enough to carry us. I’m not saying that’s how it is but when I watch them at times, that’s how it feels.

Psh. Some fan you are.

Just kidding. Rosewood Mayakoba?

Wow watching the packers it’s amazing to see someone cal run plays. Very unique to see apparently.

who cares in this game?  the defense stopped nothing at all in the 2nd half.

Passes are generally what you do when you're behind.   If the Eagles had a lead in the 4th and weren't running,  that would have been wrong.

Kansas City has had the ball twice the entire half

Protect Cunningham's groin at all costs.

Apparently he is the only competent LB

Wow.  Nailed it.  I’m pretty good at localizing travel pics, but that’s impressive.

I agree offensive side. But I think you’re being super harsh on desai who’s been giving a bunch of issues.

I understand your qualms. It’s his job and his unit. He’s the manager of said unit and he shows no ability of putting said unit in optimal positions. Playing 9 yards off and sending a disguised base cover 0 blitz is his play all. Calling man and having a free linebacker vacate the middle of the field to key on a covered HB is his play call. Having medium and short distances and having your 4 DBs 10-15 yards away from the LoS is his play call. We could have Sauce Gardiner, Deion Sanders, and Brian Dawkins and be dealing with these issues. Sending a blitz, and having Fletcher Cox (our oldest slowest rusher) play DE and stunt to the inside slowing down the blitz is his play call.

There’s no physicality with receivers. There’s no disruption of the offensive timing. His blitzes are slow and do nothing.  It’s been the same all season no matter how healthy or who’s in the game. His scheme is too conservative, and allows offense to get into Rythm too easily. There are much worse teams in the league who show more effort on defense than we do. His scheme allows easy passes to be made. I’d much rather see teams trying to complete difficult passes downfield than playing backyard catch for 8-9 yards a catch. 6 straight TDs today… that’s his fault. These are NFL players, and he needs to be able to adapt and change his soft scheme to make things harder for an offense

That's the difference between them and us. They kicked our ass fair and square and we remain accountable.

All that matters now is that we focus on Dallas, that has got to be a W.

I don't think Seattle or Arizona are hard-locks...not worried about the Midgets.

They need to invest at corner whether free agency or draft. I’d say draft cause cheaper and younger but really we have drafted maddox at corner and that’s about the only one who’s panned out for us. Douglas did when he got away from us. I’d actually spend the money on jaylon Johnson in FA. He’s young and worth the money. I’d find away to move off of slay or bradberry. Again they also need to find a viable slot corner cause maddox shouldn’t be relied on anymore

They probably don’t stick with it because they’re sick of every drive starting 2nd and 8, 3rd and 7 when they try running the ball. Every damn time. This team is a different team when they have short down and distances because of the tush push. When they’re forced to throw on 2nd and 3rd down they’re so much easier to defend. If the running game worked and got them to 2nd and 5, 3rd and 3’s like it did last season I think they would stick with it. It just sucks this season. Something needs to change.

I dont even know how long he has been sick. He finally admitted to my mom on thanksgiving night when he spiked a temperature that he felt like he was at the tail end of something.  So he was apparently feeling a little off before that. But no signs that anyone could notice or that he thought much of.

A few days later I was talking to him on the phone and he was so congested I said you might have covid because I know people who have been getting it are just ridiculously congested more than a regular cold.

He tested the next day and was positive. And still is. Hes getting really tired of staying at home now. Just cant shake it.

Thankfully, its not anything like it was years ago.

Hope you are good soon!

I dont think he has even tried much. We see the same thing over and over again. We need more N/S runs. I know last year our calling card was outside zone plays but its just not working as well this year and we just refuse to try anything else.

That’s really not a desai thing. That’s an Eagles philosophy of wanting to run a Vic fangio type of defense. So he’s running what they want him to and what they envisioned him doing. If you had better players, I think it looks a lot better. However, I think this is a philosophical approach at the Eagles need to look into and say maybe the league is changing for this defense against better offenses is it good enough to win at the biggest games against the best offenses. Miami has had the same issues with fangio and he has Ramsey and Howard

We feel like crap now, wait until Shaq Leanord openly picks the cowboys over us tomorrow…

Stop lauding the 2022 Eagles. The 2023 Eagles already have way more impressive wins.

The 2022 Eagles played in the SB. The 2023 Eagles haven't done jack.

I honestly think that Gannon will throw everything at us just to be a spoiler.

You play to win, but I think he's going to be a dick about the whole thing.

If Tommy Devito beats this team, I will vomit out all of my organs on my OnlyFans feed.
