Dom stepped toward Greenlaw...not the other way around. Dom stepped into the white towards him...he just needs to know his role, period. The NFL policy is clear regarding non-player personnel.

Dom was out of bounds the entire time.  It was Greenwall who was out of bounds, on the Eagles sidelines.  It was Greenwall who reached over the ref and contacted DiSandro, out of bounds.   Had DiSandro actually run onto the field, you might have a point - but he didn’t, so you don’t.

In 5 of the past 6 games, we've faced the top 5 QBs by EPA. We played the 6th best QB in week 2 without Blankenship, Maddox and Bradberry.

A lot of the criticism on defense is also opponent driven. No other team has faced this schedule.

The rules are clear. Dom made unnecessary physical contact. He was also jawing at him the whole time.

Non-player personnel of a club (e.g., management personnel, coaches, trainers, equipment personnel) are prohibited from making unnecessary physical contact with or directing abusive, threatening, or insulting language or gestures at opponents, game officials, or representatives of the League.

Yes, but these are the types of teams one faces in the playoffs.

Dom reached over and touched him first. Whether it was on the field or off, it makes zero difference. There isn't some distinction where its ok to do it on the sideline but not on green grass.

Also ignore the commentary. I don't agree with it at all but I'm too lazy to find a different tweet with the video.

In the white is considered the field of play c'mon man...that's why there are sideline warnings and get back coaches. Just have a more professional Security Chief, it's just bad optics all the way around and just not a good look for the league or the team. You may take pride in it, but I promise you the league does not.

Taylor was a terrible pick in the 3rd round.  I have a hard time labeling Dean as bust.  I just don't think his play has been bad.  I agree his missed time due to injuries make him headed in that direction and were foreseeable.  His pick was reasonable and it was the opposite of Taylor's.  It was along the lines of the pick of Jordan Hicks.  Edwards was a good pick up as a UDFA.  They did not do enough to keep him and the mistake was believing they could get a discount FA or another UDFA.  Howie is always going to look to save money at this position.

They’re going to try to save money at that position, but the problem is if you go look at the best Eagles team since 2000 they all head above average to good linebacker play. The teams that made the most noise for the Eagles since 2000 had those type of linebackers. They don’t have to be Fred Warner. But they have to be above average. The Eagles don’t have that right now. And I would say the top three defenses in the NFL right now do have really good linebackers. Niners have Warner and greenlaw, ravens have Queen and smith. The chiefs had Bolton. Frankly his injury is hurting them. The Eagles don’t need that caliber of linebacker, but even through the history since 2000 the eagles teams have had the most playoff success have had above average linebacker play. Right now they have BAD linebacker play

But I think you will agree just traditional runs are easier to switch to than trying to switch to an RRPO offense (which we do).  So it shouldn't be that hard to mix in some damn dive plays with Swift.  Hell, even our little RBs seem to get yards on straight dives, which does always surprise me.

Should have run right the F at them.  And that is what we should do to Dallas too. Lighter up front. Run right at them.

I'd love to. But I don't think they have plays off those dives and plays under center that Hurts can adjust to based on what the defense shows. There's zero traditional play action. All of the "complexity" is in the RPO scheme. I'd love to put Hurts under center and run it twice or even three times but it's just not their offensive philosophy. There's nothing built off of those plays.

Exactly...should have been a red flag when he said he wanted to wait through the weekend.

Wait, that’s bad?

Breaking up a shoving match on his sideline when an opponent’s player is on his sideline out of bounds.  That only happens in about what? 90% of NFL games?  The only difference is that Greenwall ended up touching DiSandro’s face.  That’s the only reason it’s even as issue right now.

They won the Super Bowl with 3 pretty good/very good LB in Bradham, Hicks, and Kendricks.  I'm surprised they haven't at least tried to get one stud to anchor the LB corps.

The NY Jets everybody

Even so, giving up 6 consecutive TD drives with 66% of the total passing yards coming on YAC, even bad teams luck into stop or force a FG.  Worst part for me, we look like a pansy defense: we don't hit hard, we rarely break up passes, nobody fears running over the middle, 3rd down is party time regardless of the yards needed.

I will concede the dline is gassed, especially Reddick and Sweat.  They are playing way too many snaps, because they have to due to lack of depth.  Their bodies look shot and their play on the field shows it.  We ain't got no mustard.

Dom would have folded Greenlaw up inside of 30 seconds.  I'd have bet quite a bit of money on that.

He would have had a heart attack or been out of breath within 30 seconds...seriously man...c'mon.

Ah, he doesn't get a vote. Get your ass in the game.

I read yesterday that Robert Saleh is on the hot seat.  The Jets should fire Joe Douglas long before Saleh.

If you had to rank the three best Eagles linebackers of the past 15 years, who would you go with? DeMeco, Bradham, and Kendricks?

Why would they even let that story get out? Someone likely in trouble over that one...

I don’t think most are taking "pride in it”. It’s something that happens in almost every NFL game.  A play goes out of bounds, shoving match persists, personnel try to break it up.  That simple.

Greenwall decided to try to hit DiSandro over a ref after the fact and ended up touching him.  It’s the only reason we’re even talking about it right now.

Yeah, he's a big guy and overweight but he trains. If you ever went to a seminar with Kenpo masters from around the country you'd be shocked at how they look physically until you see them move.

I think you have a belief fights last a lot longer than they actually do.  It would all depend if Dom can take a punch, because if he gets his hands on Greenlaw then Greenlaw isn't getting up.  Dom looks like he can take punishment -- Greenlaw doesn't act like he can.

Leonard seems very unserious. He should are signed to a PS last week.

No coach can win without a QB, OLine, and only 1 good WR.

It’s why would they say oh linebacker doesn’t matter as much. They’re not gonna spend there, the one team that won the Super Bowl probably had your best collection of linebackers in the last decade. So maybe it is important to have good linebackers. And your philosophy is hurting you especially against a team like the niners and likely dallas
