After watching rewatching the game the 9ers are a matchup nightmare for the Eagles. Hate to see them again in the playoffs.

There is no evidence to suggest that he isn't washed at this point in his career.  He wouldn't be some redzone target here either.  There will no scenarios where he leap frogs AJ, DeVonta and Goedert as passing options in or outside of the redzone.  His role and number of targets here if signed epupd be extremely limited.

2 TE sets in the RZ aren't out of the norm. AJ and Devonta don't have to leave the field. 12 personnel my dude.

Leonard hasn’t been the same since his back surgery. Why would the Colts let him go if he was still any good? He looked terrible with the Colts.

New HC, new DC too. Different scheme.  Some people just don't fit when teams change coaches.  I don't assume he'll come in and be an all pro; but as a piece to provide depth or a warm body that can tackle

I'm an advocate for adding Ertz as he is better than Calcaterra and Jones.  Both are just wasting space on our roster.

However, I think with Goedert coming back that Suh is the more urgent need.  Our top DTs are playing too many snaps.  Marlon T is a JAG.  Suh brings more if he is ready.  Plus, it allows us to use Williams more at DE to help that unit as well.

Call more runs? The majority of your playbook is options into runs. Now if he's talking about cutting some option plays then hell yes

Frankly i think they need more screen passes ti julio and quez

Get Ertz. Get Suh. Get Reich.

I think that is expecting Ertz to come in and have any sort of noticeable impact is fooling themselves.  He isn't the same player anymore and the Eagles wouldn't change their offense to accommodate him.  He would ride the bench mostly and probably rarely ever get targeted when he is in games

He would serve only as a depth piece in case Gowdert gets injured again.

That makes the most sense.  I hope and expect rhe FO to act after that embarrassing loss.  Do we want to win the Superbowl or not??

Lane played his ass off yesterday.

Denial.  He was clearly on the backend of his career at the end here and has been awful after that first season with the Cardinals.  No surprise that after doing nothing this year that after cut the Cardinals rookie TE immediately goes off.

He’s not coming back to be our #1 TE (That’s Goedert)

Or to even be a top 3 receiving option.   He would come back to be a potential go to in the red zone and another weapon for Hurts - and the potential to run 12 personnel effectively again.

Show us where Ertz hurt you.

The guy is a reliable intermediate pass catcher.  Is he going to blow by defenses?  No.  But I am sure he hasn't forgotten how to sit down in a zone and catch the ball.

Nah.  I'm good.

I mean, yeah. A team's offense that puts a lot of pressure on the middle of the field versus against a team with bad LB/S/Slot CB play will do that.

If the Eagles were to sign Ertz hoeany targets a game do you think he would get?

From a few articles I’ve read, the Colts seem to have been really high on some of their younger LB’s - which basically led to Leonard being used primarily as a 3rd or 4th option.   Had more to do with the other LB’s playing at a high level, in their system.

The Eagles wouldn't remove a better player from the field to bring Ertz in for some play designed for him in the redzone.  Signing a washed Zach Ertz in week 14 of the season isn't going to cause Beian Johnsom to now change the offense to run a lot of 12 personnel so that they can get Ertz the ball. He would get 0-1 targets a game.

"A depth piece” (Who is most likely starting this week since our starter is out).

When is Cunningham back?

I refuse to believe there is this master plan with Penny. He's just insurance and wasting a roster spot.

Sirianni has 17 on his visor. He's done for the year.

Not just the offense. On Defense the 9ers are perfectly setup to contain the Eagles.

he's always near the HC.  He was with Reid, Chip and Doug as well.  That's why he's always "on camera" because he's near the person who is always on camera.  Other sideline staff like coaches will jump in and stop players from fighting, why wouldn't another staff who is literally security intervene to stop a fight as well.

you know who else always seems to find the camera

If he gets 2 first downs or a TD a game, that is worth it to me.

Is Ertz better than never has been Calcaterra?  Or a washed and useless Jones?

What it Goedert gets hurt again?  We are back with Stoll, Calcaterra and the great Albert O
