I’d actually like to see him with a coach that’s competent. Staley and Anthony Lynn definitely aren’t it. Like chargers should’ve fired staley last offseason and went after sean Payton who at least might get the most out of that team. Heck the broncos were awful last year have a shot to be 5-5 after tonight and Wilson isn’t a complete train wreck.

They had Steichen in house and got rid of him because he was useless. 

It’s pretty obvious we’re not getting the 1 seed at this point.  It is what it is.

Should’ve hired Steichen simply for how good herbert looked as a rookie. They went staley cause everyone bought into the rams defense and coaching tree with Mcvay. I’d argue for the talent the chargers have, Staley gets the least out of any team and his defense is consistently bad. Jordan love had yet to throw for 300 yards this season. He did that today. The chargers defense for a guy who specializes in defense is just flat out bad.

I’d wait on Pierce until i see the full picture. They beat a jets team cause they have just as bad of a QB. And the giants who are awful. I thought the defense once they figured out how to slow down Tyreek Hill in the second half gave them a shot to win. I think he so far is trending in that direction. However if they completely fall off down the stretch i don’t want to be committed to it  

that said, I don’t think Aiden O’Connell is anything more than a backup in this league. I could understand you want to see what he looks like. But I also know I’m 5-6, so I’m likely out of being in the top five to get the quarterback that we want without trading up. i could play Jimmy Garoppolo, and if he plays well potentially trade him in the off-season and get picks so that I can try to move up the draft for. And if he sucks I’m losing anyways.

The O has all the pieces to be a good one, but it's just so mediocre and inconsistent.  Moore is a talented play caller but he can't make a bad org better alone. He couldn't do it in Dallas and can't in LA

Even if we get no help, and we end up losing the division, we're good enough to win 3 road playoff games. We have the best HC/QB combo in the conference.

Their biggest problem on office is really that nobody stays healthy on that team. Mike Williams consistently gets hurt. Joshua Palmer is hurt. Linsley is out. Ekeler missed a few weeks. Clapp got hurt today. Feels like that’s the most consistent thing with the chargers.
