They went from a pass first offense during that time period to a run first offense.  

In 2021 Hurts was struggling with his passing game early.  When they went run first, his passing game improved and began to develop.  
 

He came back last year and further developed all areas of his game.  
 

This year, he is a polished QB.  His passing game doesn’t need a lot of help.  What needs help is the running game and time of possession management.  Basically the opposite of 2021.  They need more looks on offense - and 12 personnel could add to an already potent offense.  And yes, Ertz can help.

One point for the whole Dom/Greenlaw thing.  The Zebras let a lot of pre-game stupidity go, so passions were up in the game  Ultimately, they could have nipped some stupidity in the bud very early on, but let it simmer and that incident was where it boiled over.

Not the reasons the Eagles lost but they need to be smarter with games like that knowing one side in particular will be chippy.  Fair play  Sitorianni for being the bigger man, but if Dom is being fairly punished, it's also fair ask from the Eagles ask to why the Zebras let it get there in the first place.

I'm late to this whole discussion as I've been avoiding this place (for the most part) since I got home last night. But one thing about that saga that bothered me is that Greenlaw did not leave the 49ers sideline until after the Eagles had run the ensuing play. At that point, Dom had already headed off and was if not in the tunnel then pretty close to it. In my mind, that should be a penalty on the Niners sideline. The Eagles ended up scoring anyway so it's all one gigantic moot point. But players who are kicked out are supposed to leave immediately and not pout on the sidelines until they feel good and ready to go.

yeh he just bounced off of him, was a little surprised, I thought Purdy was on the smaller side for a QB, I mean he's 220lb

my problem with this defense style we play is that we dont attack the ball. if we are going to play this defense where give them the underneath stuff. we need to attack the ball carrier or WR. i feel like we let them attack use because our back end isnt confident in coming up & making the tackle. could be wrong but thats what it has seem like all year. 

honest question - how much does our DBs miss Dennard Wilson? 

What are your expectations for Leonard? Mine are pretty low. Maybe Cunningham level.

Tackling was obviously bad, but Desai did a bad job of protecting his defense's weaknesses. Though this defense may have too many weaknesses to cover up.
