Agreed 100% if you have rate 2.5 sometimes you’ll get a 6 yarder and have a wide open playbook on 3rd down. Instead we drop back for 45 minutes to find no one and fall down. Our game management and situational football has been terrible and overlooked due to comeback wins

yep. I dont buy "We averaged 2.5 yards so there was no reason to stick with it. it didnt work"

2.5 is fine with me to bring up 3rd and manageable against such a physical defense. Id settle for 2.5 all day long.

Jake Browning kicked out of his own party

Bengals should try a screen to pick up like 8-10 yards to get a chance at a fg. With Lawrence hurt good chance jags aren’t going down and getting a fg.

I feel like bengals fans deep down are like  we won this but at what cost cause if we lose we might have picked high enough to get an olineman so burrow doesn’t get killed

We ran it eight times on first and second down and averaged 2.1 yards per carry.

thats ok. If we ran it more youd likely have seen more 4, and 5 yard carries mixed in. Thats too small a sample size to say it wasnt working and we needed to get away from it.

Look how many TFLs we had against SFs run game early on in the game. Then they started running for like 9 yards a pop.

They were a physical team who stuck with being physical. They dictated things.

We were a physical team who pooped our pants and allowed the 49ers to dictate to us that we would not be physical any longer.

How many mnf have the bengals had since then on the road?

They didn't say but in 33 years I imagine more than a few of them.

Ill say something else. Swift is awesome. I want him on the team next year with increased usage. Miles Sanders couldnt stay healthy either. Until he did. Which brings me to my point- the way Miles ran behind this OL last year- this team misses him. Sanders had an abysmal season in Carolina. Bring him back next year on the real cheap and have a dynamic 1-2 punch with him and Swift.

Back to ground dominance. Swift, Sanders, Hurts.

Swift will have to average 18 Carries per game for the rest of the season to get as many rushing attempts as miles did last season. He’s gotten 18 or more twice so far.

Swift has had 2 games that combine rushing attempts are less than Miles every had in any one game last season.

The Misusage of our offensive skill players is disgusting. AJ Brown, Smitty, and Swift should boardline be unstoppable in any 1 on 1 situation. They should be constantly moving and stacking and forcing bad matchups. Instead we get to the LoS with 6 seconds and snap the ball at 1 and have no read on the defense or adjustment or anything. I don’t get it. When Hurts gets to the line and can check in and out of plays and coordinate things he’s very sharp. We’re doing a disservice to the team by just walking up and snapping it lol. We’re the best worst team. The staff has been a huge negative.

Every contender but Dallas or SF is losing players.

Health matters.

DAL has lost a CB, 2 LB, and a TE, I’m sure Tyron Smith will be out soon, kinda funny though his contract this year has language in it about games started/played, he has been more healthy. Several others have missed games but those above were lost for the year.

So much truth here and it's the most frustrating thing. The Eagles have some of the top weapons in the NFL and they can't figure out how to use them.

bengals making this too easy for the jags. Jags should go for a td cause of their kicker just missing a 48 yarder. Don’t settle for the tie.

San Fran lost their all pro safety for the year not too long ago. Dallas lost a starting CB some LBs. It's a part of the game unfortunately

Dumb by Bethard with no timeouts. Also dumb why the bengals calling a timeout. Just let the jags rush it. Just make sure you have 11 guys out there.

A lot of those were on 2nd and 10, the most inefficient play in the NFL

They had plenty of time to kick that FG but still an odd decision.

Bengals should just throw one to the sideline using Higgins size hope he comes down with t and gets out. Then kick a fg

Just saw a video of a WR decleating Sweat and nobody did anything lol. SF is way tougher and more aggressive than we’ll ever be. Even their WRs hit harder than our LBers and safeties.

My goodness. AJ Brown is having the best year of his career. Smith is on pace for similar yards as last year (1,181 and 8.5 TDs) and Swift has already hit a career high in rushing. I wish he was used more in the passing game, but he’s resurrected his career here.
