Eagles last 3 games *should* be the easy wins (unless they rest starters the final game).  After us, Dallas has to play Bills, Dolphins, Lions then Commanders.  Their schedule is harder which helps our seeding.

49ers play Seahawks, Cardinals, Ravens (tough matchup), Commanders and Rams.

I think the Rams may give the Niners a game.  Perhaps the Seahawks (albeit at SF so....).

Dallas on the road in Miami and Buffalo should be two Ls. Heck, in theory, could lose to the Lions in Dallas too.

I'd put the chances of completing that throw to the TE at less than 30%.  The safety made up ground pretty quickly, and the refs weren't calling the DPI against SF for screening the receiver.

Hurts has had 3 really poor first halves in a row, though.

Hurts actually didn't start last matchup in the NFCCG well against them either. The offense was stagnant, he was bailing early. The Niners couldn't take advantage though because we knocked their QBs out of the game and also, eventually the Eagles just ran the ball down their throat. A luxury they haven't had this season at all.

Check out the one below which is worse. Clearly Jalen isn't looking at the TEs at all with Goedert out. It worked last year as we ran the ball down people's throats, but this year his refusal to throw to Stoll/Grant/Albert O is killing us. Seems SF picked up on it and new he wasn't even looking their way.

This is one of the biggest issues this team faces now. Have any of you felt confident this team can get off the field? It's hard to get excited if they make a great play on 1st or 2nd down because we all know they will just give up the 3rd down.

Desai does less with more.

Slay, Bradberry, Roby aren't horrible corners, Blankenship not a horrible Safety

The Dline is actually very good... Yes the LB's are questionable at best... however......

IT'S THE SCHEME... IT's ALWAYS BEEN THE SCHEME

So many D coordinators do way more with much less.

There was a moment when the TE got past the defender and was the most open of anyone.  Just shows that at times, stuff was there

Unfortunately, Hurts dropping the snap put him off timing, and Jurgens getting beat just as the TE is coming open didn't help at all.  Hurts should have thrown the ball instead of bailing, though.

Odds he performs better than Roby?

You see a lot of QBs around the league not to throw to backups. I get Jalen choosing to hold the ball to find one of AJ or Devonta, but you still need to keep the defense honest.

I am seeing more of these snaps now and man oh man oh man did Hurts f'ing suck in this game.  He waited too long on everything.

lol... The TE that was stumbling and bumbling was not going to make that catch. Who the hell does he think that TE is lmao. Did you see how fast the defender recovered. Hell is this guy looking at.

I think they need to get their run game working in games first.  It makes it easier on Hurts.  Watching this game sometimes I think the best comparison for Hurts at times is Nick Foles.

That's what is somewhat baffling to me about the MVP talk for Hurts.  Sure, the team was 10-1 and he's the starting QB, but most of his numbers are down from last season, and he's outside the top 10 in passing yards, passing TDs, and completion %.  Even if the MVP is a QB-centric award, there are many guys more deserving this season.  It was down to Mahomes and Hurts last season, but this year it might be a good bet a non-QB like Tyreek Hill gets it.

Add Suh. Add Zack. Add Frank to the meeting rooms. None of it is a downgrade. This year was always SB or bust. Time to show it. I think this team is pissed behind closed doors. They let a team that was just talking ish for the past calendar year come into our house and punk slap them. If they can't get fired up and come out hungry against their most bitter rival in a nationally televised game, then they won't for anyone. F Dallas.

I don’t think Jalen had a good game and maybe with Goedert he attempts that throw.

That said, in game time speed the TE was open for maybe a second and Hurts had zero throwing window during that second.  He would have needed to touch pass the ball over the line, 3-4 defenders and time it perfectly before any of the DB’s zeroed in less than a second later.  Not an easy throw to make in that much traffic.

i really hope they have learned from that lose. against the 9ers you have to match their physical style of play back. all 3 of their loses those teams went blow for blow like a heavy weight match.

then be a man of your word & do it. keep pounding the ball & let our big boys up front eat & set the tone.

The one looking behind at the QB waiting for him to throw it?  Who was looking at him too and the defending stumbled. Ok

9ers have a better defensive staff & scheme with better players around him so probably high that he does.

Why doesn’t this go in the stats as a PF?

It should have.

If he catches this, we have a chance to tie the game. At worst, we're looking at 14-9 and the game feels completely different. That's football though.

yea stuff like this cant happen. he hasnt been seeing the field well at all this season. last year he makes that throw. he needs to trust his eyes & quit trying to force feed Smitty & AJ.

When have you EVER seen this TE make a catch like that lol. Come on man

If that's Goedert, he gives him a chance. We need Goedert back in the worst way since we can't dominate bad teams with the run like we did last year when he was hurt.

And, yes - if that is Ertz, he throws it.
