The weird part is with how much they’ve been protecting quarterbacks with emphasized roughing the passer calls, all of these injuries are happening for outside reasons. Lawrence got stepped on by his lineman, Burrow tore a ligament in his wrist just throwing, Watson broke a bone in his shoulder, and Rodgers had a freak achilles injury.

No opinions on these shows are genuine. Just view it as professional wrestling. It’s scripted and choreographed to generate ratings. Carr, Stephen A, Skip Bayless, etc are just playing cartoon characters on TV. They’re actors.

Ahhh yes David Duke Carr thinks Hurts can't process a defense...

Hurts seems to be a better processor when he just drops back and distributes the ball instead of doing the incessant option nonsense.

Design good passing plays. Design good runs. Stop trying to make the offense rely on all the damn options; it's clearly been faceplanting for large chunks of these games. If the Eagles had even average talent, they'd be a bottom 10 offense.

The option was effective last year and it’s not this year.  Hurts runs better on both designed and improvised runs up the middle.  He passes better when he’s scanning the field and not stuttering with the RB on an option play.  And the RBs are getting upfield cleaner on designed runs.

I won’t pretend to know why.  Maybe it’s defenses adjusting, maybe Hurts…maybe it’s Swift and Gainwell.  But they all look very uncomfortable doing it.  

Bring back Gannon when he’s fired

I haven't really followed it much.  Just seems like a very weird format and schedule. 

I think it would be better if they took a few weeks or a month during the season to have the tournament continuously like most tournaments are played instead of the random, spread out games they label as in season tourney games.  Makes it more difficult to follow what's going on.

The Eagles facing more 2 high coverages than every team but Miami shows that opponents respect our passing game and don't fear our run game. Our run game is just too horizontal and not physical enough.

I don’t know if it’s a cardio or lack of interest issue with AJ, but he just looks SLOW when things aren’t going his way. Not a lot of tenacity or fight. That needs to change. 
 

 

OOOFFF yea, that's not a good look at all. AJ should be a bully as a blocker, especially against a punk team like the 49ers. What drive is that? Did it end in a FG or a TD? If that was a FG drive, you can easily say AJ cost them 4 points because that's a TD if he just gives average effort.

yup, once we dont pop a run for 6 yards in between the tackles we just give up.
