Purdy is also a gimmick in the NFL.

Ill be more comfortable to hear if Aaron Rodgers, Brady, Manning, Brees, etc get told NOT to throw to open guys because they werent supposed to be in the read.

He’s not a gimmick, their offense doesn’t ask him to do a lot. Take care of the ball, distribute it to the play makers, typically within 5-15 yards. That’s the offense, not a gimmick. Shanahan puts him in a position to succeed at a ridiculous high rate.
If Hurts had Shanahan I would expect some electric stuff out of that offense, on a level with Mahomes type stuff.

Glorious news, things like this are why I wait until the weekend to make a prediction.😁

The concern about Hurts' play this season spans more than one game.

I think it would be much the same with the addition of more QB runs.

Yes, but many more options for a defense to have to counter, that’s why I say it would be better. I mean their offense is already top tier, but if you were to put Hurts in there? You could do everything they already do and then some.

That’s assuming Hurts is getting the coaching he needs, maintains and tunes his skillset as the weeks and his career progress. I only say that because I’ve read on here that there was a QB coach change this year. I really think that is something that may be contributing to some perceived "regression” that I’ve read from others on the board.

He’s still young, long way to go. he’s got the physical tools and mentality to be great. Just needs to continue to grow and get better. Some coaches and teams are better at that than others, last years progression was incredible for him. This year? Obviously something is different.

Why didn’t the Niners claim him?

I guess that involved him getting pancaked into oblivion - hey, mission accomplished.

How many times was he named during game  ?  Lane owned him.

Leonard can't switch numbers before anyone suggests it

I think Howie outsmarted himself a bit with this move

I don’t fully believe in blue prints, game plans change. Tendencies? Sure. But to claim you have a blue print in todays game? That’s a bit arrogant imo.

The 49ers? Arrogant?? You're way off base here.

Purdy is obviously doing great where he is - how do think he would do in KC?

Tyreek Hill is the unquestionable MVP and Marvin Harrison is the unquestionable Heisman

Anyone who disagrees is a real €untcake

Unfortunately for them Goedert is back so it means BJ/Siri have less of a chance of shitting themselves. Did they forget that they lost 3 straight when Trent and Deebo were out? Lol

It's Christian Elliss.  Were they quality ST snaps?  Our success on STs is mainly from Elliott, Covey, and replacing Siposs with Mann.

This fanbase truly does not deserve him or the success he brings.

Could be true. Spy him, get pressure,  he will struggle

Whatever. He hasn't won crap yet. He fumbled and it cost them regardless of his play after to overcome it. Doesn’t mean success won't come but he hasn't earned that yet.

A lot of QB would do well with that line and those WR. Winning Sunday is a good step.

2 seed wouldn't be the worst thing so we don't have to face Dallas in the 2nd round.  Then hope maybe Dallas upsets the r9ers and we get a home game for nfc championship.

I still want the 1st seed

Anyone else wish we could go back to the days of never discussing, or really thinking about, which officiating crew we were going to get?
