What's the fear in cutting someone like Albert O for Ertz? Worst case, it makes F all of a difference. Best case you got someone that can catch and help move the chains. There is simply no risk here.

Yeah I figured it was that. Thought this was an annoyance factor. But it would provide the slimmest of hopes for many of us.

Isn't it rather short sighted to not activate Albert O? You have Goedert coming off of a broken forearm and Calcaterra who was just in a walking boot. They are a few wrong plays away from just Stoll.

It sounds sillier because its in its first year, and LeBron winning it and media trying to hype it up for him sounds like a joke.

In reality, I think it will grow in popularity. It already did well for the league.

It was a nice way to add some meaning to early season games. And its format ends up making the tournament a 1 and done format (after group stage), so it really feels like anyone can win. It isnt likely to be the same team every year. Much different from the 7 game series in the regular playoffs.
