I have no nerves for the game tonight, none.  Not sure why, but what will be, will be. A win or loss won't define the season either way.

Some care because of the SB rematch but it's just another game to me

Same as me.  The Super Bowl is the past now; I just want to win this one

Don't kid yourself. The players remember the SB. They feel they would have won on a decent field. They want this a lot. The 49ers are aiming for us for the same reason. Don't think the players don't get jacked up for certain games and this is one of them. Should not be a game for the faint of heart.

Was the Miami game not 'statement' enough?   What about against Dallas?    What makes a 'statement game' against a team with a winning record?

I personally wouldn't call Dallas a statement game for us. Yes they won, but they didn't look good doing it. For me a statement game is "a team controls the game and wins against a good opponent". Not "team depends on the other team imploding to escape a loss".

The eagles almost snatched defeat from the jaws of victory, not a statement game IMO

I disagree.  It’s big because the Super Bowl the field was sloppy and the bs pi call At the end left no clearly defined champion

we have an opportunity to go in there house and prove that we are the better team of front of their live fans and the nation.

Going to cut down on crowd noise a lot.

I hope they run it down their throats tonight. Just bully ball.

I do too.  Good game to give Penny some carries.

But I worry if they get down early that they might try to throw too much even if it's raining and windy.  Hopefully not.

I never understood why these night games start after 8. People have these thing called jobs that they get up in the morning for. Why not start at 6 or 7? I had to burn a vacation day to watch this game.

And I lived in Seattle for ten years. I wouldn't have cared about a 4 o'clock start. You could even adjust the times if it is a West Coast game.

Man, I wish that I had realized that tonight was Eagles/Chiefs when I scheduled my colonoscopy for tomorrow back in August... This might be the roughest Monday Night Football broadcast I've ever experienced.

Enjoy the prep!

You will soon know firsthand what the saying "clean as a whistle" feels like.

Most people are only getting done work around 4-5 or only just getting home at 4-5 plus whatever other sheet they have to do plus if they have kids they have to do their after school stuff.

Kinda no point in watching it now

Yeah this really is just more of a bragging rights game. There are many other games that have a lot more bearing on the season but dammit do I want this one SO bad..

Wish I lived in Philly to catch the games, but man do I love being on the west coast for the time slots we get
