Did you both miss the "to me" part?

No. It boggles my mind, though, that it’s just another game to you.

I had that done for the first time about a month ago. If I have to pick between sex and colonoscopy prep sex wins every time but the colonoscopy prep wasn't nearly as bad as I had anticipated. The prep came with a lemon flavor packet which helped. Mix the prep up a few hours before hand and refrigerate it. I kept it as cold as I could manage which probably helped with palatability. 8 ounces every 10 minutes until I went thru 32 ounces. I was scheduled for afternoon so 32 ounces in the evening, 32 ounces the next morning. I expected to have trouble consuming that much liquid but it turned out to be a non-issue. 5 years before I have to find out if the first time was beginner's luck. My father died of Colon Cancer so yeah .....

Something I found out from the gastroenterologist worth knowing if that if an ancestor is diagnosed with colon cancer at an earlier age, like 50s the cause is more likely to have a genetic component so more important to start screening early.

Man I’m sorry to hear that. My dad had  colorectal cancer and had to take 5 units of blood during his surgery at the Dallas VA hospital, it was touch and go for 24 hrs after. That’s why I get checked regularly now.

Seriously guys, your insurance covers it, get checked.

On December 6 I'm scheduled to complete the "oscopy trifecta" within the same calendar year.  Had the ureteroscopy in April, colonoscopy in October, and will have a gastroscopy in a couple of weeks.

Sounds like you are having some issues/pain to do that many oscopies.  Hope all is good for you.

My first one is gonna get scheduled soon

DO take anesthesia.  I did one without and one with.  With is definitely preferred.  Felt like 5 minutes from count backward to all done.  I think the Nurse said "count"...and I was gone baby gone.

Thanks. He was in his mid 80s and had had a stroke which caused motor problems. Nobody gets to live forever but yeah, it wasn't as bad as it's made out to be.

Who gets fired first? Staley or Rivera? After seeing Staley's post game hissy fit, I say him.

I've heard about Staley's PC but hadn't watched it yet. I finally did...yea he's getting fired soon lol

Nothing against it if you feel otherwise 🤷‍♂️

I never understood why these night games start after 8. People have these thing called jobs that they get up in the morning for. Why not start at 6 or 7? I had to burn a vacation day to watch this game.

And I lived in Seattle for ten years. I wouldn't have cared about a 4 o'clock start. You could even adjust the times if it is a West Coast game.

$$$.  They think this leads to more $$$.   If they thought starting at 7 on the East Coast was more lucrative, that's what they'd do.

Over/Under 35 Pass plays called tonight for Hurts....

Yup, I got propofol (sp?), the stuff that did Michael Jackson in. I can see why he liked it, my anesthetist nurse said "good night" and that was it. Some 'hangover' when first coming out of it but was fine within a couple hours.

Wish I lived in Philly to catch the games, but man do I love being on the west coast for the time slots we get

West Coast for Football is incredible.  Wake up, work out, eat, watch games and still time left after the afternoon games to do stuff (unless the evening game is good).

Today is F you run the office yourselves I'm out at 445 ****es and I only live 4 minutes from our office.  I told my staff when asked why leaving so early, I have to prepare mentally for the game. 🤣

There was no discussion about watching in the office (TV w satellite firestick dongle thingie for every game in the world) because they lived through the Phillies post season with me and want no part of the heightened Eagles based anxiety/excitement/yelling like a  madman/acting like I am a coach who could surely call better plays than THAT, experience.

Fly Eagles Fly, but rather see an awesome run game.  Control the clock !

Man, I wish that I had realized that tonight was Eagles/Chiefs when I scheduled my colonoscopy for tomorrow back in August... This might be the roughest Monday Night Football broadcast I've ever experienced.

Got mine in February.

They put you under? So you don’t even get to feel getting probed? What’s the point then?

I rode that way once and there was a video too.  The moaning and whimpering was a bit offputting at the watch party. But at the time...

Have kids in Travis’ and Jason’s age range, I can only imagine being Papa Kelce and going to dinner with the family on Thanksgiving with Travis bringing Taylor only to be upstaged by this woman.

They always win on Thanksgiving. Ruins my damn holiday every year.

Them playing every Thanksgiving always ruins my Thanksgiving. Never understood why they get that game every year. Like some sort of America's Team BS or something. I know the other teams aren't complaining because they get to stay home with their families. Detroit was fun to watch for the 10 years that Barry played. Need to stop show casing these teams on Thanksgiving.

Is colonoscopy prep sex a thing?  Do you have to go REAL REAL fast in between runs to the bathroom?  Or are there no runs to the bathroom?  Why is the word "runs" finding its way into this scenario repeatedly? IYKYK

Ureteroscopy was because I carried a kidney stone for a full year without it passing; thankfully that's done and gone.  Colonoscopy was the yearly sample provided which came back positive; they removed one polyp which was non-cancerous.  The gastroscopy I suspect they're only doing for funsies -- the gastroenterologist said my symptoms didn't match what he expected so he wants to go in the other end for a look.

So far, if my body is trying to kill me I've managed to come out on the winning end.  As Richard Pryor said in John Wayne's voice:  Well, get the F out of here, death!!

Someone here answered this before.  No one wanted these games years ago and these teams stepped up and took them. So the NFL rewards them and they keep them.  This is the way abbreviated version.

Well, with that track record of successful conclusions (meaning you live) you should get more oscopies.  Glad to hear so far so good for you.

Every year it comes up.  Every year the answer remains the same.  It isn't complicated, but for some, they can't seem to wrap their heads around it.
