Two losses in a row doesn’t bother me. It’s the "how” of these two losses. They’ve both been dumpster fires. This team is in a downward spiral. And beating up on the Giants and Cardinals ain’t gonna matter one iota once the playoffs start.

Yea, on our way to at the very least being outscored 72-32 over the last 2 weeks and I don't think the games were even that close. This team is playing football like a bottom 10 team in the NFL.

Why in the world is Mahomes making such a big deal out of the penalty? Toney was offsides, it wasn't even close. Acting like this is worse than the Bradberry call in the SB.

Yea his quote about "letting the players on the field decide" is the funniest part of the whole thing, because I bet he didn't have that opinion in February

Are they saving their complete game for the giants?

Pathetic all around

Mahomes is a crybaby puss y

Go make another State Farm commercial and stfu lol

We’ll see what they look like next week.  Maybe they’ll turn a corner.

If they don’t however, you have to bring in new coordinators in the offseason.  If Lurie sticks with this group next year I think they’d be lucky to go .500.

Hurts isn't the guy. He just isn't  unless everything is perfect around him. I kid you not I'd trade him for the package the Texans got.

I don’t know if I’d go that far, but this franchise’s inability to get good QB play year over year since McNabb left is puzzling. Vick, Wentz, Hurts, all looking like 1-2 year wonders.

Because he’s used to getting bailed out in big games and now it’s twice in a row it didn’t work out for him. It’s a whole new world.

Ugh don't even know where to start.  I guess with our 3 best offensive players turning the ball over.  All 3 going to the ground.  Protect the ball.  I mean what else can you say about that.

The defense plays El Toro defense the1st half and then plays decent.  Can we do that to begin the game please?  Find a way to keep Sydney Brown on the field. Besides Redick, he is the only player who is playing attacking defense.  The rest of the guys are just reacting and late.

The main problem has been focus.  These guys are living in lala land out there while the other teams are bringing the heat.  Penalties, turnover, drops, missed assignments.

Time for the annual closed door players meeting

Trade you for Dak straight up? lol…

the problem in this game was hurts, brown, smith - all with turnovers.

what this season looks like to this point is the Eagles beat everybody except the 2 teams they would face in the playoffs.   But in the playoffs it's Any Given Sunday.   Perhaps they will roll out innovations in the playoffs to make sure they win.

The Eagles look like the 3rd best team in the NFC.  Brown and Smith are both tired,  getting more snaps than any other wrs in the NFL.   They should be getting rest so that they're 100% for the playoffs,  which the Eagles will be going to.

There's always next year. Maybe Howie will invest in LB, defense will be better, and Hurts will play better

Have to imagine if kelce retires the offense takes a step back

Like I said, if we lose next week then I'm all aboard the sky is falling train.

Right now we still have a shot at HFA and are likely to be the #2 seed at worst.

Looking forward to Sirianni keeping the starters in for a meaningless possession so he can continue his fake tough guy shtick.

Hurts garbage time td?

Fumbles not happening would have given us some RZ opportunities maybe.  Would be nice to see.

3 of them... 9 points... maybe... 17.   Imagine 21.  That changes everything, because we kick the FG instead of going for it on 4th and 9.  That turns it into 24 and that makes 37 points.  Very different game... starting with the Hurts fumble.

This is a BS field goal. No need to kick it. We didn’t call any timeouts.

I hope the coaches really look back at these games and realise things need to change.

On O - they need a commitment to the run earlier in the game. An emphasis on holding onto the ball.

On D - they need to get a little more aggressive on 3rd downs. And go away with these super delayed blitz designs. By the time the guy starts moving forward, the ball is well gone.

It's gross.

This is EXACTLY the time to play backups or kneel.

Silver linings:

Offense moved the ball well. They stopped themselves more than Dallas stopped them.

Defense played better in the second half and actually got a few 3rd down stops.

They fired Doug because he wouldn't move on from his coordinators... and frankly, they might have been better than this.

He didn’t call any timeouts.

Remember when Chris Boniol was automatic for the Cowboys and then the Eagles signed him and he became one of the worst kickers. Good times.

I'd trade him for less.

But this has been more of a failure in coaching than anything else. He has a very specific tool set and the team has committed to him financially (for better or worse). He's not Brady. He's not even Trent Dilfer. But for whatever reason they run an offense like he can actually be a pocket QB.
