The whole point was to win TOS and keep Dallas offense off the field. Dallas has under sized LBs. You're supposed to run at Parsons. This offense is just dumb. No screen game.... didn't see any wheel routes or texas routes to the backs. No commitment to running the backs. Play action what's that? Everyone literally has to be perfect for this offense to work with all of this talent. Eagles are too basic.

Yeah feels a lot like the years after doug won the Super Bowl where we constantly complained about not enough motion and the eagles ran a handful of plays and teams picked up on their tendencies.

Siri is a limp deek pussah.

they fired doug and he won a superbowl , so i hope nick feels the heat and actually starts to be a head coach and not just a talking head.

Yup ..  we got stale. We've been hoping all year that they'd figure it out and switch it up but there are 4 games left and here we are.

Losing a Super Bowl should afford zero job security...

Doug got fired because he wouldn't stay in line. Siri will do what he's told

It’s a similar feeling to those teams where it feels like they have to move mountains to even get a first down and it never looks easy. One penalty essentially kills the drive and they just plod their way down the field. Teams have taken away the big play TD for the most part and are forcing them to convert in the red zone.

Lurie hasn't been a patient owner since Reid left town. He and Howie have an idea of what they think the team should look like and if they don't reach that level Lurie is going to get itchy.

Sirianni has 0% chance of being fired after this season. Not even a fraction of a percent. The coordinators(much to everyone's dismay) aren't going to be canned either.

But if this season were to fall apart with them getting beaten up in the divisional round and then next season arrives and it's the same problems... clunky offense, awful defense, I'm telling you seats are going to start to get warm. I wouldn't say hot, but I'll say warm.

But that's a long ways away so tuck that away in the back of your mind. I've just been thinking about the coaching a lot lately though, especially since the Eagles last two hires(excluding Sirianni) started off really great and fell apart so quickly. And kind of in similar fashions. Offense became predictable. Team made a lot of mistakes. Then this season comes along, and too early to say if it's continuing the trend, but....

At least you gave them until week 14. I said about two weeks ago that they haven’t figured that crap out and we’re heading into week 13 again San Francisco that they are not figuring it out. This is who they are.

if we didn’t have 2022 to go off of, I think our view of this team would be even worse than it is right now. Because we saw them play as well as they did in 2022. so some small part of us makes everyone l believe that they can get there. I just don’t think this team is that team.

people get upset when i defend desai saying this unit downgraded at every positional unit and doesn’t have the personnel to keep these offensive units under 30. He’s not doing a good job but investments they have made this offseason on that side of the ball were significant downgrades.

To me, Sirianni and Brian Johnson have only downgraded at one spot which would be left guard. And they upgraded in my opinion and a running back. That offense should be way more capable of scoring six points. Then again the eagles offense has struggled since sirianni became HC against Dallas. The 26 at home in 2022 was cause cooper rush and the eagles nearly blew that game cause of the offensive struggled for a long stretch. The eagles scored 27 on offense in the second game but had a ton of turnovers. The first matchup this year the eagles offense was good for 3 quarters and then Quinn basically stopped sirianni, Johnson and the offense. All that said, when I watch this offense they don’t use or barley use motion. This was the same things we talked about with Doug. They seems very predictable when you watch them. And if we are simply gonna just rely on our talent is better than your talent then we are gonna go through the same type of issues we did after winning a SB with Doug.

I'm getting real tired of his quotes, they scream a dude trying to be deeper than he is. Just say you and the team Fing suck right now and leave, these idiotic quotes are just annoying

Coordinators will be interesting because I’m curious about Brandon Staley if/when he gets fired in LA going back to a DC role. Same with Reich being out there who won’t get another HC job again. Both not good HC’s but doesn’t necessarily reflect on their ability as a coordinator. I think one of those guys will be here next season depending on how things shake out.

I think outside chance Desai gets the can after the year if D doesn't improve.

We are currently bottom 5 in points given up and pass yards given up. Bottom third in total yards, turnovers. And dead f'n last in third downs.

Literally the only thing this D is OK at is run D and pass rush.

They can fire Desai I don’t really care. But I’m telling you right now their bigger issue is that they don’t have the personnel to be where it needs to be in order to win at the highest level. Go look at the second half. They made adjustments. The defense was definitely better in the second half. And yet they still couldn’t get off the field and get stops when needed. That’s because we don’t have the personnel even with the adjustments to be good enough to beat teams like Dallas on the road and San Francisco in general. To me the bigger issue is this off-season they lost too many guys and replaced them with guys who are not as good or guys weren’t ready to make the jumps they needed. And relying on a guy like maddox who never stays healthy.

The ineptitude of the offense lost a winnable game tonight. IMO

I know the defense was bad in the first half, but if the O does anything, like score one or maybe two TDs, it could have been won… could’ve could’ve could’ve… they didn’t.
Dallas didn’t even play that great of a game and still blew them out.

If anyone should go it should be Johnson. He has all the talent on offense and is doing jack Fing ish with it.

Desai at least has the excuse that the defense has maybe 6 dudes worth a damn and 5 of them are on the d line. He has two slow, aging corners, no linebackers, a slow safety on his last legs, a serviceable safety who gets hurt a lot, and no nickel corner. Dude has nothing to work with except the line and blankenship.

The thing is, if this offense plays to their talent level, the defense doesn't need to be great for this team to win a Super Bowl. It just needs to not be a bottom 5 pass defense. If this pass defense was even freaking like 15th in the NFL, this team's prospects would look so much better right now than they do. And if to achieve such a low bar as to be a middle of the pack defense, they need to shore up every single position on defense, then the DC isn't doing a good job.

I do wonder if they bring in Reich or something after this game. Not to help Johnson, but to help Sirianni. The game plans have been awful. Their first half offenses come out so poor. That's Sirianni's job. Maybe Reich could give a fresh set of eyes.

Yeah sadly i don’t think that’s coming except against the giants and cardinals which isn’t gonna help us in the playoffs when we need it vs. Dallas or Sf

Everyone  knew coming in that the Eagles offense had to sustain drives and "protect” the D by keeping them off the field. Consistently run the ball and take time of the clock. They failed. And it’s the same crap over and over again. Running the ball was working for the most part, but then they go pass happy again. Run the ball until the other team stops it. They were getting 4/5 yards a pop - stay with it.

With all my frustration about the defense this year, they get a pass from me tonight. There’s just not more there talent wise…

Bring in Reich as consultant and Ertz as a back-up TE.

This team needs to commit to the run a little more, sustain drives and have at least a 4th option in the passing game (Quez, OZ, Jones, Stoll ain't it) who wont get many looks but we need at least someone the D cant totally ignore

The biggest issue it’s Nick Sirianni this team Has to be one of the worst coached teams in the NFL they are absolutely horrible. Johnson and Desai are just Pawns.
