I don’t know how anyone on here can feel confident in this team flying across the country to play in one of the best home field advantage stadiums in sports.

We have the easiest last 4 games of any of the NFC contenders…on paper. But with the way this team is playing, would anyone be truly shocked if they go 2-2?

I wouldn’t be shocked if they lost all 4. These past 2 games have given zero faith.

Yeah, none of these games are a gimmie anymore, although going against Drew Lock does greatly increase their chance of winning next week. But this is a very tough spot regardless. After the last two weeks, these last three teams have to be coming into these games thinking you are vulnerable and they can beat you.

Do we think it’ll be Lock? I think it’ll be Geno who was only a last minute down grade. He’s got over a week to rest and get ready.

Seattle has given Philly fits for years. No chance they beat them. DK going off for 150+ and 3 tds. Should be enough since the Eagles can’t score over 20 points now.

Yeah I guess it's not a given it will be Lock but I hope it is.

This will be a monumental collapse from 10-1 to 13-4 at best more likely 12-5 0r 11-6

No way this team goes into Seattle and wins against Pete Carroll, DK Metcalf, Tyler Locket and Wagner and crew. No way thats happening.

We dont beat seattle when we are a good team.

SO looking to the future, since this team will be one and done in the playoffs...

what OC's and DC's might be avail next season?  Johnson and Desai have GOT to go.

Does it matter? Either qb is going to perform against this defense.

Why did they flex the gsme to Monday night? This team doesn’t deserve to be in a prime time game. Guess they just want everyone to watch the beat down that’s coming.

10-7… maybe the eek out a win against the Giants to make the playoffs and get smoked in the first round by whoever wins the south.

It's amazing given the investment in the DL that they don't have sufficient bodies there, especially considering that they haven't had an injury to the DE position (though they did cut Barnett).

At this point in the season there’re not many options for Roseman.  Forget Ertz.  He is not a fix for the offense. I would consider Ndamukong Suh as an option to bolster the d-line.  True he’s not a defensive end but I think he could contribute by giving Carter, Davis, and Cox less snaps.  And give Nolan Smith more snaps to rest Sweat and Reddick.

Suh would also allow Milton to take more snaps outside to give Sweat and Graham some more rest.

Out scored 75-32 against the two top teams in the nfc now. Zero offensive tds this week. But yeah they’ll rebound and win the next 4 games 🙄

No. I don’t expect a win Monday night. And while a 3-0 finish wouldn’t shock me either, I can absolutely see all 3 of those games being harder than they should be.

Who cares?

They're not better than Dallas or SF.  They're not winning a SB.

They will have plenty to fix in the offseason.

There is too much to fix. One offseason won’t do it. And they won’t fire anyone so it’ll be the same coaches next year and we’ll see the same results. Might as well just take a year off.

Right so we will be garbage for the next 5-10 years and finish last in the NFC east.

How's that sound?

Mediocrity or suck… hmmm 🤔

I said this last night during the game about running the ball. When we say run the ball more this is why.

1st play of the game for the Ealges. D'Andre Swift, 4 yard carry with 10:00 minutes to go in the 1st quarter. His next carry wasn't until 10 seconds left in the 1st quarter on their 2nd drive.

-Subtracting the 2 false starts, they ran 10 plays on their opening drive. There was also the ticky tacky OPI and 1 penalty on Parsons. So out of 10 plays were run, 2 of them were called runs to Swift, 2 were Hurts runs

-2nd drive, they ran 8 plays, 2 runs.

-3rd drive 10 more plays. 2 called runs and Swift is out of the game. It's now the Gainwell show. He had 2 nice runs but Swift is never going to get it going if he is out for drives at a time. 2 called RB runs, 2 Hurts runs

1st 3 drives of the game. 28 plays called. 6 of them called RB runs and 4 QB runs. I have a hard time counting called QB runs as part of a real running game because it takes away from the RB getting in to any sort of rhythm.

Your RB are never going to get going with 6 runs. The game is still 17-6, you need a TD to be right back in it. You also need the D to make a stop, which we know it can't do.

Bottom line, their plan of attack with using the running game is absolute garbage. It makes no sense. Your starting RB gets decent yards on the 1st play and doesn't see the ball again for 10 minutes. Then you take him out of the game completely. How he's still in the top 10 rushing is beyond me.

Nope, AJ Brown was not good. Maybe the worst almost 100 yard performance ever. Then there's Smith.

aj and smith also didn’t play well. Why i said aj brown hasn’t been playing well for a couple weeks now even with his stat line saying otherwise. And smith just had a really bad game as well last night. Both were awful last night. That said when your Qb has 15 turnovers and on pace for 21 for the year that’s a major issue. Been the same thing week after week. He’s turned into wentz where wentz had a problem holding onto the ball. He’s fumbled in 7 consecutive games. That’s 100% what wentz was doing and people got furious about and rightfully so. Add on has been inconsistent for long stretches of games for weeks now. Literally he was bad for an entire 4th quarter in the first Dallas matchup and they nearly lost. He was inconsistent in the first half against KC and Buffalo. Frankly like the entire team not very good after the first quarter against SF. Again hurts got bad performances from brown and smith but he also missed some throws and his turnover early put the eagles in as much of a bind as those drops and eagles defense.

there was a lot of people on here last year laughing (rightfully so) at Dak when he was a turnover machine and had 16 in 12 games. Hurts after 13 games has 15. Discussed this last year with a Cowboys, I said, at some point in time those turnovers Prescott keeps making are eventually going to catch up to him and the cowboys. and it did at the end of the year and then in the playoffs it cost them a game against the Niners. If your quarterback is gonna be turnover prone, you’re not beating the better teams in this league especially not when your defense is bad and your teams are also dropping the ball. That turnover by Dak last night was not good. However it’s also just his 3rd turnover in 8 games.

I have seen many Defensive Coordinators do so much more with less talent. The defensive issues are a coaching issue.  all of the defensive woes are Desai. No real pressure packages... playing a 2 deep shell the entire game is just inviting teams to have long extended drives down the field. Worse yet, we cant stop the run to offset it either.

The Offensive issues- no quick passing games (other than WR screens- which never work) No check downs, very little RB screens, what happened to RB's being passing targets?   wheel routes or flats, check downs in the middle??

What happened to the run game? Why aren't we RUNNING THE DAMN BALL? zero creativity- Zero ball security... The greatest show on turf, had receivers who would catch the ball and go down to avoid contact when they were about to be tackled.....  this helped keep them safe, hard to hit them when they went to the ground, and the ball was secure. Smart football.

Sorry this falls on Johnson, and Desai...... and really comes home to roost with SIri.

Maybe the MVP talk will finally stop. MVPs don’t turn it over at a rate of 1 per game. He doesn’t even deserve 1 vote. It’s between Dak and Purdy since they only give it to qbs.

I think Hurts is facing a Lamar Jackson type of dynamic where we can fool the teams that haven't seen him, but when we play a familiar team it's not good enough.

That's where the coaching has fallen short and our inexperienced coordinators have failed.  It's as simple as that really.

I honestly think Hurts is the least of their problems. AJ and DeVonte had two HUGE drops. DeVonta had a 34 yard TD in his hands and AJ Brown had a 30 yard pass go right through his hands. The Smith ball was a HAIR too long but Smith needs to make that play. The ball to AJ was an absolute dime that you can't throw any better. Right there is 65 yards and a TD.Who knows how that changes things.

Yes, he 100% needs to see the rush better and spread the ball around but I think a lot of it comes down to coaching too. Call plays where Jalen can throw a quick slant to AJ and let him bully his way down the field. Call some quick outs to DeVonta to get in a groove. Where's the TE seam or anything TE over the middle? Hell, just let Goedert sit in the zone and let Hurts dump it to him for an easy 7-8 yards. Does he have a hot read?

No one on this team is immune from criticism, especially Hurts. He's getting paid $240 million. He should be able to overcome bad coaching and take over a game. He's not doing that. We need more from him. I just think no one around him is helping at the moment.

It’s funny how Sirianni sees the sign that says "run the ball” and basically just makes a joke of it.

I haven't gone scorched earth on this season, but I'd be interested to see if Al Harris would come over as DC.  As for offense, I have no clue.  Somebody who doesn't call underneath throws on 3rd/4th and long with the game in the balance would be nice, or who calls a run play on 3rd and 2-3 knowing if it becomes 4th and 1 we get it.

Seth Joyner just made an interesting comment about Gannon and Gym Shorts... they're both running defenses that are wildly different and way more aggressive than what they ran here. Is there something about the Eagles that forces these coordinators to call scared, passive defenses?
