While we're speaking of offsides, the call on the push tush conversion was horse dookie. No one was offsides or remotely close to being offsides. It felt like the refs said well, they can't just keep making it look this easy, they must be doing something wrong. The way Tirico talked about it and brushed it off afterwards was equally infuriating.

It was Kelce's arm... again.

Pretty cut and dry. Pretty sure they even mentioned on the broadcast, receivers typically look at the sideline official to make sure they’re lined up correctly. They said Toney failed to do so. Just like Agholor did in Seattle in 2016. One was too far back, the other too far forward. Coincidentally, both errors wiped out TDs scored on the play.

What i don’t understand is why people keep saying his toes were over…

The neutral zone is the ball, his entire foot was over. The blue line is just to show where defenders have to stop, offensive players need to stop a good foot before the blue line. This is the most egregious offsides I’ve seen for an offensive player.

Running the ball wouldn't have changed anything the past two weeks. How about they start scheming guys open in the passing game for a change and maybe the pass game would work better? Seattle was able to throw it all day on Dallas. With a worse offense, worse line, worse QB. How about they stop turning the ball over? How about you don't drop passes all game? How about Hurts stops bailing the pocket every time he sees pressure? Good offenses should be able to beat you with multiple styles.

People have this idea that the Eagles are built to be this power rushing team that gains five yards on first down.  They're not.  They're a finesse team that's built to pass block and get up the field on screens and zone runs.  The right side of the offensive line probably weighs less than half the people on this board and the one semi-decent back on the roster is much better at the second level than running between the tackles.  The tush push skews this perception because it makes them seem like a barrel-chested team that  picks up three yards whenever they want, when in reality it's more of a gimmick that works in large part because the QB is a physical freak.

And, not for nothing, but nobody's a run first team in the NFL anymore.  If you can't pass the ball, you can't run it.  That's been true for a long time.

Because the people saying it don't know the rules.

Kelce talked about this on the pod. I believe this is the third time they've mistaken Kelce's hand for Dickerson's since Kelce lines up in a four point stance on that play and it can visually look like Dickerson's hand. It's a joke at this point. They know what they're doing.

The fumbles are coming from pressing due to a lack of rhythm by a fake o coordinator, the penalties on D are coming from pressing due to a fake d coord with a easy to pick up scheme that was disected on every Sunday show

Yup, I generally don't like to bail early on coordinators but I really think both are way in over their head. We shouldn't need a Reich or Patricia in here as "assistance".....the right coordinators should have been hired last offseason knowing how this roster was built. Giving the position to Johnson just made no sense. We over thought that process by a mile.

AJ dropped two dimes

That game wasn’t nearly as lobsided as the final score indicated. Devonta has a palm’s worth more reach on that one TD and it’s 30-20. Then if one of the two receivers don’t fumble in/near the redzone (which Dallas had scoring drives off of both), it’s 27-23 or even 27-27.

Lot of ifs, but a very different game than the SF one. It was actually pretty close to the first PHI-DAL game, we just didn’t get the breaks we had in that one

This call is so obvious and absolutely correct. It’s ridiculous that Malhomes and Andy are even arguing this, especially after they got that call in the SB, which yes, technically was holding, but still in that moment… there you could argue to let them play.

It wouldn't have. It wasn't working so their drives would have just ended quicker and the Cowboys and Niners would've went right down the field and scored at will because the defense is that bad.

"Running the ball more" doesn't mean run 3 times in a row every series and then punt lol.

That being said, the math is the math... you eat up about as much clock on a 3 and out of all run plays and punting as you do a 6 play drive where you've got one or two first downs but have 3 or 4 incompletions.

Stop ****ing KC. Surprised they even let the ball get snapped.

That dime to AJ was beautiful you have to admit. Just a shame he dropped it.

Yup. Said it was a great throw at the time.

too many bad placements to say he is elite. The crosser to smith on third down as one example

Nah... the fumbles are from the players being lax. They need to cover the ball up properly in traffic. That's on them. Attention to detail is lacking

For all the issues...
We're still a top 5 offense by EPA/play. 8th in DVOA.

They were moving the ball and then imploding.

Yep.   Kelce is wearing a black sleeve on both arms.   Dickerson is not wearing a sleeve.   It's pretty obvious.   Black sleeve, Kelce.  White arms... Dickerson.  But, the officials don't care.

More treats for the Cowboys and another play where Collinsworth blatantly questioned where the call was. Eagles still played like ass but the officiating was straight up garbage. They wanted to make in impact on the game.

It wasn't good, for sure.  But the officials didn't make the Eagles fumble 3 times.

My frustration is that they don’t stick with the run when it’s working. When you get 4 to 5 yards on first down, why not stick with it? Even if you’re held to a minimal 1 yard gain on 2nd, you are still in a very manageable 3rd down..

Oh no, not taking ANYTHING away from how poor the Eagles played.

I said it before Kelce needs to wear pink gloves or some ish. Something that clearly distinguishes him from the others. His daughter liked AJs pink shoes wear the gloves Kelce.

He's looking right at the ball too, and should se that he's way too far up.    Look at the difference between him and the WR on the opposite side.... and the OGs... and the OTs.

Football 101... know how to line up to start the play.

Toney has to know he's not lined up right there, hell Kelce should be able to tell and give him a shout.

My favourite bit of Mahome's moan was when he was talking about Kelce having a HoF career and this affects it, like the voters will be sat there going 'Yes he's got a stellar body of work, the gaudy numbers, pro bowls, the longevity, but on the other hand there was that one TD when Kadarius Toney was offside and the refs called it. I assume we're agreed gentlemen, Gold jacket denied'

I hate how bad the Eagles are playing but at least we can laugh at this. The face and reaction of entitlement if you ask me.

Kelce said he wouldn’t wear pink gloves because it would draw attention to where his hands are post-snap and didn’t want to pickup holding calls. Maybe a sleeve?

On another note, the broadcast highlighted how well Tyron Smith was doing showing 4-5 pass protects (vs Sweat) - every play his hands are outside the shoulders. I think the officiating crew didn’t ignore the holding like last week, but they weren’t going to call it every play either. Given how dependent our defense is on the DL having good games, we can’t afford to get beat physically upfront.

Ok they would've lost yesterday 27-10 and lost to the Niners 39-13. Ran a couple more minutes off the clock, but have fewer points to show for it.

No worries.  TD would have gone to Toney, not Kelce anyway, so Toney screwed himself.
