DBs get beat by perfect throws. That's just how it goes. Sydney Brown in tight coverage against Ferguson is good!

Using him in the slot exclusively earlier this year was a mistake, but as a box safety who has to occasionally take a TE, I like it. I don't want him on Smith-Njigba...but then again, I don't want Roby or JB on him either.

Teams some how figure out how to get these dudes in unfavorable matchups... why the hell can't the Eagles offense do that. Don't answer... rhetorical

Yes, of course I think Ringo would play worse. I’d say it’s almost a certainty.

I think the better question that isnt being discussed is long-term potential benefits outweigh short term benefits. So does the long term potential benefit of having Ringo out there and take his lumps and gaining experience for next year and future years outweigh the short term benefit of Bradberry out there who’s not playing well right now but is better than ringo and we are 10-3 with Super Bowl hopes still? That’s the question that needs to be asked.

The eagles are gonna side with bradberry on of this cause they built this team to be a SB contender.

Not against Seattle. Throw him out there more vs NY and AZ maybe.

I get the attention on Ringo given last night, but I'd rather see Ricks or Jobe get the first crack at outside corner.

Sadly, that was probably the best coverage play by Brown this year, but it didn’t matter because he has no length at the position.

We are a week removed from everyone but Bradberry getting torched by the Niners.

I’m not advocating for it. Just that the question shouldn’t can ringo be any worse. It should be weighing the long term vs short term benefits.

Yeah, it shouldn’t even be a question.

Do you think he can play worse?   Bradberry is like a beacon out there right now for teams to target.   Ringo would too... but at least he might learn something.  Bradberry is done.   AND, he offers almost no effort in tackling.   Ringo, at least, tries in run support.

your point is Ringo is the future, Bradberry's best was in the past.  Can Ringo be better than Bradberry right now? I cant answer that, hopefully the coaches can.

Far bigger problems on defense than Bradberry. People are acting like the guy is Bradley Fletcher out there. You can do worse than Bradberry. Other teams out there have better pass defenses than the Eagles with worse guys starting than Bradberry.

Some of this is lack of talent or talent not being ready yet. Milton Williams is on a milk carton. Cox is near the end and relying on him to be apart of this rotation playing significant snaps. Nolan smith is just not ready yet to make the leap. And we are relying on an older graham. Linebacker they have no depth. They aren’t good. Slot corner they have 1 in Roby who’s old and at the end. Safety has solid depth of brown plays like he is but byard hasn’t been better than mediocre this year here and with titans. On offense we’ve had the same depth issues behind our starting WR and TE. we’ve needed a better no. 3 for 2 years now. Our backup tight ends are JAGs

Milton Williams had a decent game.

We don’t have enough information to say he’s the future. He was a fourth round pick and played his first real snaps last night. People are getting way ahead of themselves.

Hard to be torched when they didn’t target him cause they knew morrow and the middle of the defense was bad. I think niners could’ve chosen that path if they wanted but elected why even attempt that when we know their linebackers and middle of the field is bad and we can continuously exploit that much easier.

Contrary to popular belief the Eagles are still in a contending playoff race. In a league where the hottest team in January and February win championships (see the improbable Giants Superbowl win when they were 9-7). I'm a no if it doesn't give them the best chance to win THIS year.

I think the question becomes louder if the eagles lose this game to the Seahawks and if he has troubles with DK and Lockett

Missed tackles are a bigger problem.  They also get continously torched in the middle of the field because of poor LB play.

More worried about Slay on DK tbh. Doesn't he always eat his lunch? I remember the last time we played DK went off, and that was when Slay was 3 years younger.

Like I said, I’m not for it or advocating it. I just think that discussion that people are having is he can’t be any worse isn’t the discussion that they should be trying to base your argument off of. He’s not going to be. He’s a rookie. The argument to be made is if you want him getting those snaps to help him long term over bradberry. Which frankly they’re not going to do for what you exactly stated.

In 2020 metcalf went off for 10 catches and 177 yards. I’d say this is a better unit then that team but statistically they aren’t

I actually think Lockett is a bad matchup for bradberry too. Lockett is the type of receiver that’ll give him fits.

The game will come down to pressuring Geno/Lock. Their WRs are too much for most teams.

I’m talking about the entire year. I don’t think Milton Williams has played close to as well as he was down the stretch last year. I don’t always agree with pff but his 65 grade seems pretty accurate.

Well if it’s anything like the past 4 weeks it’s gonna be a long Monday night. Honestly the way their pass rush has been inconsistent and how sweat talked last night, makes me think the eagles say F it in the offseason and go all in on someone like Brian burns.
