How many years have they been doing this?  Constantly neglecting the run game.  I'd argue it's even worse now, because running Hurts up the middle is half of our run game.

Hate the giants but this is like the lin sanity thing a years back. But good for that family on getting to see their kid live out his dream and rolling with it

What world did I wake up in today?

Football teams in NY have been terrible for so long the media is desperate for ANYTHING positive about them

Pete Carroll has been the Seahawks coach for 14 years and this is the first time they've ever lost 4 straight. The Eagles have lost 3 straight under Sirianni once. So do we think the chances are greater that the Seahawks lose 5 straight for the first time ever under Pete Carroll, who has never lost 5 straight in his coaching career, or that the Eagles lose 3 straight for the 2nd time under Sirianni?

During that 4 game losing streak, they've lost to the Rams 17-16, the  49ers twice, 31-13 and 28-16 and also lost to the Cowboys 35-41. I don't watch their games but just by the scores alone, it would appear they are putting up a better effort than the Eagles over the last 2 games, especially considering they had Drew Lock playing their last game. The fact alone that Drew Lock had half a week to prepare for the 49ers and kept the team closer than the Eagles could is alarming.  The Seahawks always seem to battle, even in losses. The Eagles are coming off two of their worst efforts I've ever seen, no matter the coach.

Interesting article from Sirianni's 1st year after a 3 game losing streak. Seems like the team is facing similar issues

https://www.seattletimes.com/sports/eagles-enduring-plenty-of-growing-pains-under-nick-sirianni/

The Eagles have lost 7 straight against Seattle dating back to 2011 (Including a Playoff loss).  It's not going to be easy, if they beat them it would essentially end their season.  Again 49ers and The Boys had a vendetta as far as getting us back.  It's not the same type of drama with Seattle even though they've had our number for over Decade now.   I don't think this year is comparable to 2021.  That was a 3 game losing streak at the start of year.   This is more comparable to last year when they lost to Dallas and The Saints back to back.

I work with a guy who's convinced that Big Dom is deep in the Philly Mafia and that he's in on the NFL fix, that's why he's always around. It's clear that with Big Dom out of the picture on Sunday, the NY Mafia stepped up and showed who's boss.

If Dom was in the mafia, they would have found Greenlaw floating in the schuylkill last Monday morning

I see your point about being more comparable to last year with Dallas and NO but I was looking at the issue with the team. It's been discussed all week that it might never matter who the coordinators are, as long as the top brass have their philosophy of how they want the team to play.

That 3 game losing streak saw the offense put up big plays but fail to put the ball in the the EZ. Sounds familiar 3 years later. The defense was giving up huge amounts of points in a bend don't break scheme. Again, sounds familiar.

I think as long as it's Lurie and Howie, it doesn't matter much who the coaches are. They are going to bring in coaches, coordinators and such to have the team play how they want them to. This is what the Eagles will be for the foreseeable future. Live and die by the big play and hope that you come out on top.

It was quite entertaining to listen to. He said the reason the Eagles get so many calls going their way is because of Big Dom always being there. He lost me right there because the Eagles are the last team I would ever say has calls go their way. To add to it, he's a huge Cowboys fan.

Can you imagine if DeVito was a backup for the Eagles and doing this? I would love to see an alternate universe where that happens. Philly would lose their damn minds. The support he would get here would be through the roof and I can just see an absolute electric atmosphere.

Defense needs to get stops and get off the field, they are only hurting themselves.

Pre-bye they were averaging 64 snaps per game. Post-bye its been 79. 3rd down is killing them.

Stats like this are dumb. When you are protecting a lead that you gained in the first place with the passing game, of course you're gonna be inclined to run the ball more. Especially if you carry that lead into the 4th qtr. The point still stands, but it's a dumb way to justify the argument. Classic example of correlation =/= causation.

Agreed. Those 23 carries weren't even to the RBs though so there's still an issue with dialing it up earlier in the game and sticking with it. The RBs were avg over 4 yards a carry vs Dallas I believe. At least when Reid wasn't running the RBs he was at least passing to them. This offense is just weird.

We hated it... but time for some sticks defense lol. Giving up all of these 3rd and longs is ridiculous. They can't keep their hands off people.

It's so predictable.   Cover 3 guys with the back 7 and all the defense really has to worry about is Jalen running.  And they know where Smith, Brown, and Goedert are going to line up on almost every play, so they don't even have to think much.

Nick Sirianni has to be so jealous of that flag.

There were other available candidates for DC.  Mike Zimmer was a name I brought up.

Have you seen him? Cunningham in coverage won't be any better. And another weird example to use considering the pressure forced the throw and it ended up landing incomplete.

Million bucks on the eagles

Berman said he thinks Eagles could have an international game next season. Haven't had one in a while and have an extra home game.

My vote is for them doing the Germany game with Frank Reich as the OC.

Siri laughed at when hired, year 1 playoffs, year 2 SB, year 3 10-3 so far for sure playoffs with hardest schedule I have seen. Chill on him

It’s ridiculous

Will they be providing cheerleaders? They will look like the ones from the Replacements
