Sirianni seems on edge. ESP asked him a question that he started off being super pissy about and then ended up just kissing ESP's ass at the end.

He hand selected his coordinators and they are both abysmal failures - he's feeling some heat.   I'm wondering if his seat is hotter than we realize, if these rumors about locker room frustrations are true.

No walkthroughs when everyone's gassed. Bold strategy.

I sure hope that the fundamentals we're working on include playcalling.

Oh boy, so it's going to be Aiden' O'Connell vs Easton Stick tonight. The matchup we've all been waiting for, no doubt.

Thursday night football seems to always to craptacular.  Best thing about this matchup is that I won't feel bad about missing it.

I kind of want to bet on it to give me something to watch but the only thing I would feel safe with would be props or the under. What a terrible game.

I saw a video some months back that showed how for the last few years, ever since the NFL starting putting colors on the Super Bowl logo, it ended up matching the teams that played in it.

Last year it was red and green. The year before orange/reddish and blue. This year it's red and purple.

Buffalo and Vikings SB is going to suck

I bet "was just tryna make a play, that's it" AJ Brown is hating every second. Also isn't Devonta out of practice? Haha what

I realised that a few months ago. The more you see it, the harder it gets to unsee it and not laugh. Poor bugger doesn't deserve that

As for watching TNF...

The game sounds like a cure for insomnia

Surely they can't be worse than the scheme Bill Davis put in?

No wonder he has no idea what Desai is doing, 15 seconds into the video he doesn't even know who the Eagles LB's are.

Why would you ever feel bad about missing it?  The NFL doesn't really care about it.  Why should fans?

Needs to get a fade ASAP

Yeah that Shane Haff guy comes across very amateurish. When Solak started, he was very annoying but also right way more often than he was wrong.

This is weird because Smith definitely didn't practice...

I guess they did but not in pads and helmet

Well... it does seem to change regularly.  Neither Cunningham or Leonard started with the team... and Morrow, of course, was cut.

Something, anything.  Abrahams was involved in Gerogia politics too right?

But you'd think that would make them limited since they didn't do everything that everyone else did. There were pictures of Smith in street clothes watching them stretch. Must be some weird loophole or something.

He's just gonna get hurt again. It's inevitable. I really think it's time to consider going in another direction for slot CB next year.

People looking for him to come back this year will be disappointed when he gets hurt again 2 possessions into the game.

He definitely needs to be replaced.  Hopefully Goedert won't be too upset his buddy is gone.

I think they need to reduce the snaps for Sweat and Reddick.

While I still feel somewhat embarrassed and outraged at the notion that they may need to sign Suh given the incomprehensibly massive DT investment, it makes sense.

Even if Nolan isn't ready, he should be in a heavier rotation with Reddick to preserve the poor guy.  And Suh would allow an interesting rotation of Milton Williams and Carter spelling Sweat.  Both Williams and Carter have very unique inside/outside bend, explosion, and flexibility.  They may never reach their disruptive potential as pass rushers if they don't get some edge work.

This is a fascinating period for me. Sirianni has done a fantastic job this far but now faces adversity for the second time. It was more than Chip could handle, or Kotite, or Rhodes.
Now we’ll see how good he really is.

That clip having Eli Ricks in the slot against Lamb in a Cover-0 look is just bad coaching. I get that Slay was banged up, but Slay at 80% is better than Ricks at 100%. The point about blitzing from depth is valid.

I think we've run mugged-looks 3-4 times this year, most of them against Washington. Our LBs are too slow to blitz from depth.

This is light adversity.  The Eagles are a very good team.  The adversity is through the lens of having thought this was THE preeminent juggernaut team in the entire nfl.  Now we are slowly learning they are likely just another contender in a tier below a couple other teams.

It’s disappointing, but it really isn’t head rolling territory.  If they are meandering in the same territory next year, then it’s time to ask some tough questions about where this nucleus is headed.
