Lurie/Howie/Nick sees the same thing as us. Bad discipline. Coverage busts. Dumb gameplans. It was time.

Rooting hard for the Bears to lose out for Eberflus.

Some of the all-22 breakdowns the last 2 weeks were embarrassing. Desai was putting guys in terrible positions. There is too much talent on this defense to be THIS bad.

Took them long enough

Hopefully Brian Johnson is next

Nah. Brian Johnson might get a HC job this cycle (2 3rd round picks!) and the offense is still top 10 in every important metric. I'm not even a Brian Johnson fan, but that's an off-season move at earliest.

JLC is a tool, but he's right here.

The fangio defense has been caught up to by the league. Fangio has he same issues in Miami when he faces good offenses. Eagles scored 31. Bills scored 48. Only two top 10 offenses they’ve faced. I’m guessing next week dallas puts 30+. It’s a philosophy that had a ton of success 3-4 years ago. Now it’s not nearly as successful.

Some good news. Looks like Geno Smith's status for the game is still uncertain so it might be Drew Lock at QB.

Like that matters with this defense

I like it.  Bold and makes sense. Patricia has tons of experience including his LB coaching experience.

At the very least, this has to mean they are moving on from Desai after this year no?

Confirmed

Anyone know which hotel the Eagles are staying at?

Sirianni earlier this week said no coaching changes. He’s just Lurie & Howie’s puppet. This 100% came from them.

Curious to see how this goes. It’s gonna be one extreme or the other.

I'm not one to correct anyone because I don't punctuation online but shouldn't that tweet say upcoming week? I was a little confused

Wow. I did not think that would happen

Sirianni clearly was unhappy with Desai. How could he not be?

Who made the decision, Nick or Howie? Starting to smell like Howie.  Throw back to the end of the Doug days.

I love it….there was some serious accountability this week…players and coaches.

Not sure why they kept him if they were essentially demoting him. Just fire him more on to Patricia as interim. Eagles getting maddox back in next couple weeks is gonna significantly help us at slot corner.  giants, cardinals and giants after this week should help with the transition as well. hope Patricia is closer to how his defenses looked beginning of his tenure with the Pats and not his time with the lions

which also means all we're going to see is wash, rinse, repeat. Lurie and Howie have their vision and style they want to see here. We've seen it over the last few DC. I don't expect any drastic changes unfortunately.

So how long has Patricia been on this team? Who hires up and coming coordinators for a team in win now mode?

It's because the same thing happened with Doug and his coordinators. They did poorly and would be asked if there was a change and he'd say no and then a change would happen

Anyone who thinks this didn’t come from Lurie and Howie is mistaken

Glazer reporting Geno probsbly won’t play aggravated the groin

Comp picks probably

Based off what crossing broad put out there this is about forcing desai to resign so they don’t have to pay him. So essentially demoting him to a role with no input or say and hoping he resigns and goes elsewhere.
