He's playing 'good enough' football.   He threw THREE interceptions today.   That's not 'good football'.   BUT, the Browns' Defense is really really good, so they keep them close enough to allow for some late game heroics.

Zach Wilson’s offense put up 0 points. Good enough>whatever Jets are doing at QB. Also added a note about the picks in the 2nd part of my post after I realized

I know the NFL these days is all about offense, but the defensive showing by both Houston and Tennessee today is impressive.

Not surprised at all by this. Been my concern since day 1. Defensive Coordinators don't need PhDs. Reporters asked Pete Carroll last year what Desai brought to the team and he said, "uh, yeah I mean he adds a different perspective than anyone in the building." His rallying cry this year consisted of the word "palpable."

Where did i say you did on offense? Again making an obvious statement the offense was just worse against Dallas than the defense. That doesn’t mean you did. just a obvious statement of events

you can keep writing these long  responses but i never said i disagreed with you on making the switch. Only thing i said was they weren’t nearly as bad before the bye and had decent games/competent game plans. And that i don’t think Patricia is going to have much better success against the better teams cauee of personnel issues.

Can respond and say what you need, but i don’t see Patricia having much more success that puts the eagles over the top if they run into offenses like Dallas or SF. Frankly i don’t think they get more than potentially 3 stops if both get 9 possessions cause i think their personnel is a horrific mismatch against those opponents.

You brought the offense into the discussion.  That's a separate issue.  The offense and defense were BOTH bad against Dallas.  Frankly, only the ST was 'good'.   It was a game that you'd want to flush, if the game before wasn't also a game you'd want to flush.   Back to back 'flush it' games means change is needed.

also said that I don't expect much from Patricia, but incremental improvement would be possible and could be enough.  If I didn't think there was a chance, I'd likely look for other things to fill my time for the remainder of the season.

Considering how Smith got the job and made a name for himself.  That’s alarming to be honest.  As I said, I haven’t watched much Atl since he got hired.

Tbh it reminds me a lot of josh mcdaniels. Mcdaniels had Brady that got him those jobs. Meanwhile smith had prime Derrick Henry who was ridiculous that helped likely cover up a lot of warts he had and the deficiencies on offense he could attribute to tannehill

John Clark reporting from his tree or wherever he stalks these players

Can these idiot refs let just one game finish without them shoving themselves into a game? Seriously F off and stop ruining football.

Just ruined a great finish to a great game.

49ers march right downfield and score as well.

Fields face and play looks like a guy that knows he’s not coming back.

Wow #11 almost had that hail mary from Fields.

Wow.   What an ending in Cleveland.

Is a degree in rocket science ok?

54 yard FG from the Texans to end it

Reagor Agholor type stuff!

Some.make better coordinators than HC’s.  McDaniels got his 2nd job making the patriots look ‘ok’ without Brady.

Let's go Bills!

That’s where we disagree. I don’t think it’ll be enough in those games. Cause i don’t think against Sf or Dallas they get enough stops cause the biggest issue is your biggest weaknesses are where those teams love to attack. I think it’s a bad personnel matchup against those teams. You have bad linebackers, slow safety in byard and maybe maddox comes back in the slot. I don’t think you are slowing down Sf with a bunch of bad linebackers, Roby and slow secondary.

You can believe Patricia could give them just enough, but i seen what Patricia did with the lions and without belichick holding his hand to make me say i don’t believe it until i actually see it. I do think they will look better than next couple weeks due to the matchups/opponents. I don’t see it against Sf/dallas/ravens/Bills offenses until you fix the bigger issue of personnel in the offseason.

let me say this isn’t had to keep desai. Just that i don’t think firing him solved the bigger issue.

Yeah, but the Tush Push needs to be banned coz it's pushing...

Going to have to ban that play by the Bills.   Can't do that.   "It isn't 'football'."   :nonono:

Not sure you should be allowed to push a runner like that.

Wish we had the kid the Bills have calling plays. Love the running and play designs.
