Line up to -4.5, all the confirmation you need that Hurts is playing and Geno ain't.

I just hurt MY groin getting my bet down on the Eagles, baby.

Had a groin injury once that lingered for months on end. Seemed like it was good, would have no pain for a couple weeks, then I'd get out on the field and tweak it within minutes of running. Went through this cycle a few times before I had to shut it down for a whole month to properly rest it. If Geno does start, the chances we see Lock step in after Geno tries to escape our pass rush are very real.

If nothing more significant than Patricia having a different player eval, that's interesting for today. Ringo playing, Garner called up probably for ST. I'll be interested to see how much Brown and Smith play. He's stuck with the Fangio-base for the D. That's too bad. If one thing has played out this year, Miami, and so on, it is that Fangio's system is pretty flawed.

An interesting take.   Different eyes, different focus, different skill sets prioritized.   Jobe seemed to be the guy to fill in for Slay, as he filled in for Bradberry early.   Ricks seemed to be the hot flavor more recently, but now the needle moves to Ringo.   Who knows what's really going on with the DB room?!

Same.   Fortunately, I was playing in a slow pitch softball league (1st base).   So, I just kept playing, stopped stretching for throws the same way as I used to... and when hitting happened... a double was usually just a long single.   And a ball that normally would be a homerun became a double.   Jogging became the speed of choice, and I never opened it up to full speed until the following year.   Station to station.  And even then, I would still tweak it nearly every year after that just a little.

Let’s go boys! Need this one tonight.

Got something new on deck for tonight.

Mine was during soccer and while it eventually got right again after I gave it enough rest, once I tweaked it, I was out for the rest of the day, even half speed was too painful. But I did tear my hammy real bad rounding third base in softball that never healed right and has given me problems even 10+ years later. It was all black and blue the day after, doc could even feel where the muscle had rolled up high into the back of my thigh (and he didn't even buy me dinner first!)

Some of these soft tissue injuries F'ing suck. Thankfully (knock on wood), only had minor knee issues, nothing major or structural, while my brother has torn his ACL and meniscus, so I guess it could always be worse.

Lot of Eagles fans out here for this one. Everyone universally upset we won't grt to see Mariota.

Was curious if maybe they'd let Penny play against his former team.

A slippery field, an angry pass rush and a QB with a groin injury isn't a good combination for the QB finishing the game on the field.   I don't see him finishing this game.

Albert O... we hardly knew ye.   Glad they made that trade.  Paying huge dividends.

We’ll see if Geno plays, he may not because Mannion is active.

Penny revenge game

They're now saying Geno is active, but not starting...

I’ve had some good scotch but I can’t seem to drink it without getting heartburn. Bourbon has never given me that problem. Gonna pop this Eagle Rare.
