Your references don't even directly correlate to Jesus dying for our sins. You fail to understand the context of the passages because you clearly never read them.  You just pick and choose stupid memes that don't even make sense.

I owe you an apology.

I've been calling you stupid for quite some time... and I'm sorry. I totally forgot about @EagleVA until he recently started posting again in the mongoloid thread.

For what it's worth... you are to @EagleVA, intellectually, what Lebron James is to Stephen Hawking in basketball.

You clearly never read this. Please mikie, you already admitted you haven't read the book you base your morals and faith on.

You can strop beating your chest and pretend that makes you a winner.

Wait, you haven't read the entire thing? Wtf are you waiting for lmao?

Jesus did not come to change god's law, but to fulfill it.

If your oversimplified understanding of that statement is correct, then why does Jesus violate Jewish law repeatedly with his teachings?

From washing hands before eating to stoning an adulterous woman, there is example after example.

I haven't read the entire old testament, no.

I'm waiting for scholars like Toaster.  That guy is more knowledgeable than priests, so it's almost a waste of time when I can just listen to him

How is it so important to you but you haven't even read it yet? That's crazy hahaha! I assume you are at least in your 30s, right? Wtf are you waiting for?

You base your morals on a book you have not read. Have you the read the entire new testament? Don't lie, Jesus is watching.

How hard is it to read a single book? Mike is a poser hahahaha

I couldn't imagine basing most of my life in a book and not reading the entire book, multiple times.

It is a tough read. The begat sections are pretty bad, but there is no test. You don't need to retain the information, and clearly, even Christians don't find it important enough to bother with.

I only read it, in about 3 months, while at Dougherty, because my teacher was a pompous jackass, and I was a terminal smart mouth looking for ammunition that would make his head explode.

Meh.

I did it with with the novelization of Deuce Bigelow... @Mike31mt can do it with debunked superstitions. Who cares?

Plenty of books are "tough reads", but if I based my life on the book, I'd find a way to get through it lmao. Even reading a few passages before bed each night would get one through it many times over the course of a lifetime.

In a Catholic mass, there is an Old Testament reading, New Testament reading, then a Gospel reading.   I have also read some of the OT on my own.

But I have not read it page by page and neither has Toaster.  If he did, he failed to understand about 99% of it

Yeah, we know you didn't read it, you already said so earlier. It's almost unimaginable to me that you haven't read it multiple times given how you say it's such a huge part of your life. I guess some people just have no conviction at all, they just talk.

I've read the new testament, and the gospels several times.  Those are the most important texts for Christians.

The idea is that Jesus fulfilled the prophesies in the Old Testament and established a new covenant for man that is different than the OT.

I prefer to get my book reviews from people that actually read the material lmao.
