You fail to understand the context of the passages because you clearly never read them. You just pick and choose stupid memes that don't even make sense. I owe you an apology. I've been calling you stupid for quite some time... and I'm sorry. I totally forgot about @EagleVA until he recently started posting again in the mongoloid thread. For what it's worth... you are to @EagleVA, intellectually, what Lebron James is to Stephen Hawking in basketball.

Please mikie, you already admitted you haven't read the book you base your morals and faith on. You can strop beating your chest and pretend that makes you a winner.

You don't need to retain the information, and clearly, even Christians don't find it important enough to bother with. I only read it, in about 3 months, while at Dougherty, because my teacher was a pompous jackass, and I was a terminal smart mouth looking for ammunition that would make his head explode.

Plenty of books are "tough reads", but if I based my life on the book, I'd find a way to get through it lmao. Even reading a few passages before bed each night would get one through it many times over the course of a lifetime.

But I have not read it page by page and neither has Toaster. If he did, he failed to understand about 99% of it

It's almost unimaginable to me that you haven't read it multiple times given how you say it's such a huge part of your life. I guess some people just have no conviction at all, they just talk.

I've read the new testament, and the gospels several times. Those are the most important texts for Christians. The idea is that Jesus fulfilled the prophesies in the Old Testament and established a new covenant for man that is different than the OT.
