You'll have to be more specific.

He's referring to a story in the New Testament, which again is lost on you.

Sad that a troll account knows infinitely more about the Bible just to use it in jest than someone like you.

Wrong again:

The disciples approached him and said, "Why do you speak to them in parables?”

* He said to them in reply, "Because knowledge of the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven has been granted to you, but to them it has not been granted.

b To anyone who has, more will be given* and he will grow rich; from anyone who has not, even what he has will be taken away.

* c This is why I speak to them in parables, because ‘they look but do not see and hear but do not listen or understand.’

d Isaiah’s prophecy is fulfilled in them, which says:

‘You shall indeed hear but not understand,

you shall indeed look but never see.

Gross is the heart of this people,

they will hardly hear with their ears, they have closed their eyes,

lest they see with their eyes

and hear with their ears

and understand with their heart and be converted,

and I heal them.’

Yes, you are wrong. I posted words from the Old Testament, and you start deflecting to Jesus' use of parables. I gave you a list, so you could learn.

You refuse, and what is interesting, is that you, an alleged Christian, dare lie about it.

Once again you're terribly confused because you have no idea what you're talking about.

Your lack of understanding of Jesus' role with respect to the Old Testament is the issue here.  That is why I said you are why he spoke in parables.

You're utterly clueless but want to be a wise arse about religion.

I don't expect you to get humor. Or much of anything.

As for Jesus and his teachings, you seem to be confused about many of them.

Jesus was big on turning the other cheek and forgiveness, for loving your enemy. You aren't capable of civil discussion.

You have absolutely no credibility to discuss anything related to Jesus or Christianity as a whole, as you routinely display your embarrassing lack of understanding of both on a regular basis.

You're a hypocrite, you have a superficial knowledge of the things you try to regurgitate in here thinking that you're clever.  You're not.

The problem is, I spent years in Christian schools and had to read the bible. Then I had a religion teacher who said it was all the literal word of God. All 100% truth, so I studied more just to ask him uncomfortable questions. Questions you run from like the cowardly pretend Christ follower you appear to be.

Then you again and again, prove that you know nothing, understand less, and are as Christian as me. I have never been baptized. I don't believe, but at least I am not the hypocrite here.

That would be you, pretend follower of a God you not only fail to understand, but fail to learn any of the easy lessons he taught.

Have a lovely day, chump.

The tax collectors and sinners were all drawing near to listen to him,
2but the Pharisees and scribes began to complain, saying, "This man welcomes sinners and eats with them.”b
3So to them he addressed this parable.
4c "What man among you having a hundred sheep and losing one of them would not leave the ninety-nine in the desert and go after the lost oned until he finds it?e
5And when he does find it, he sets it on his shoulders with great joy
6and, upon his arrival home, he calls together his friends and neighbors and says to them, ‘Rejoice with me because I have found my lost sheep.’
7I tell you, in just the same way there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous people who have no need of repentance.f

this is progress!

another question:

when I die (hopefully in the arms of two or three prostitutes)*, will I:

  1. burn for eternity
  2. have my consciousness blink out instantly
  3. have sex with every [edit: biological female] Auburn cheerleader on a soft cloud while eating a pastrami sandwich and watching a [Phillies] game on a portable antenna TV
  4. be reincarnated as an echidna in universe with zero electric flux

?

watching a grown man who doesn't trust anything man says, blindly follow a book written by man when they were as corrupt as any time in history, is epically awesome.

This makes no sense at all.

I'm wondering why you believe any historical records at all then, if you don't believe anything in the Bible.    They come from similar sources--words written by people a long time ago.
