Had a bad feeling about this game all week and thought: ”I knew it" for most of the game.

I just still don’t get it. This ain’t the Birds I used to know. It’s a well coached, elite team with elite QB that just has a knack to win.

Oh I think it was!

OK so… in the end we got it done. And it was very special for that team to come back and do it again. But after we all calm down from another incredible turnaround win… Where do we think this team is at? 10-1 obviously but like where is this team at? How good can they be? Is there more to come? There’s a lot of NFL chatter about us being lucky and having the officials in our pocket. Do we think there is any credence to that? Or is that jealousy because we are winning at such a rate right now.

Obviously it will be worth it, but being sleep deprived it does make me question. I think our record is what it is. There’s no style points in the standings. We haven’t played as well as last season but teams have had chances against us and haven’t taken them. We have. And Jalen hurts is a superstar and hopefully he gets the respect he deserves.

I thought we got lucky with a couple of decisions early on, I remember mentioning it on another message board I use. I also think the Bills are better than their record. But the Eagles are not lucky - they make excellent adjustments in game and they never, ever back down. What a luxury, for example, to have a kicker who you just know isn´t going to miss from 59 yards - 59 yards! Then, we have the Shove, frequently imitated but never matched. That´s before we talk about Hurts and Kelce and Carter working ST magic. 

You don´t get bonus points for style, and point differential seldom counts for anything. Let´s Fín go, Birds. I back this team against any oiher in the league right now

Yeah the luck thing isn't sitting right with me either.  In order to say the Eagles got lucky to win the game means you have to completely discount what players like Jalen Hurts, Jake Elliot, and the defense did in the game in order to help them win.  Luck has nothing to do with Jalen driving straight down the field in overtime, skill does.  Luck has nothing to do with Jake Elliot nailing a 59 yard field goal in rainy windy conditions, skill does.  Luck has nothing to do with Carter doing his homework, and then blocking a FG attempt as a result, skill does.  Luck has nothing to do with the Bills kicker missing a 48 yarder that wasn't blocked, skill (or lack thereof) does. Cowgirl / Whiners fans can't use the "cupcake schedule" narrative anymore since the Eagles have one of the toughest and are still winning, so they've changed the narrative to the Refs/Luck bull crap.  At the end of the day it's all just sour grapes.

Oh mate every week I think to myself we are mad to put ourselves through this. And even madder given the ungodly times of some of these games.

I agree there are no style points in the NFL so ultimately winning by 1 or winning by 51 makes no difference to the standings. We beat bad teams, we beat average teams and we beat good teams. Nobody can argue that. But I still get this feeling like our luck is going to change at some point. In the play offs do we get a bad bounce or a bad call and that’s it we are out.

I know we are all euphoric after another dramatic big win.  But, everyone has to be able to see that this team still has yet to put it all together and still plays bad for long stretches of games. Overall, they're being out-played.  Dallas outplayed us, KC outplayed us, Buffalo outplayed us.  That's why you see Jalen Hurts barely being able to enjoy a win.  If you noticed, he was on the bench yesterday shaking his head while Jake Elliot kicked the game tying FG.  Hurts knew that the offense bungled things which led to that attempt being 59 yards instead of at least 40-something.  

The offense was completely clueless and inept for the entire first half and the first drive of the 2nd half.  2 turnovers directly gave Buffalo 14 points.  James Cook dropped a TD, Gabe Davis/Josh Allen had the miscommunication on what could have easily been a TD in OT to end the game.  The obvious non-call on the horse collar tackle on Allen.  The missed FG (plus a blocked one).  

The Eagles do have this crazy tendency to just keep making plays when it matters most.  If the other team keeps leaving the door open, the Eagles take it...which is a big credit to them. The drive by the offense in OT to win the game was a thing of beauty. 

But, any reasonable fan has to admit there is certainly cause for concern.  Saying this team "just wins" is ignoring how they're actually playing (overall, for 60 minutes) and just "believing" that they'll find a way.  They've been living on the edge most of this season and particularly the past 3 weeks...is it just a matter of time until the house of cards crumbles?

Not trying to be a downer...I thoroughly enjoyed the win yesterday but I still can't look past the crappy play for extended periods of time.
