You don’t need the make believe visual to learn about it. Again this is the "nudity" in question: If this is too "graphic" for a kid I'm gonna go out on a limb and say they aren't ready to learn about WW2. And no banning a Pulitzer prize winning book is not remotely similar to removing statues of confederate generals. Really?
January 27, 20223 yr This school board member says the graphics are too much for an eighth grader: If he thinks those pics of vague mouse genitalia are pornographic, then he's really messed up.

Certain people hold confederate generals in much higher regard than Pulitzer prize winning books.

Obviously different reasons, one dumber than the other, but this is still based on not showing graphic images to kids. Would I ban the book? No. Do I think it’s some huge issue that they don’t want nudity in the school? No.

January 27, 20223 yr Wonder what the percentage of people out there who think that book should be banned also think it’s ok for little boys to dance in adult-like settings i know. It’s out of left field.I haven’t had any coffee today.

That's some serious pearl clutching. Attitudes like that are as much why kids are pansies and ignorant as whatever woke crap is going on.

It wasn't even banned, just dropped from the curriculum and it happened in bum F nowhere. How does ish like this get pushed to the mainstream? I mean, besides to make ishlibs feel like they're on the right side of book bannings and censorship.
