Good god. I just turned on Fox News morning show (for 5 mins) to see what they were talking about.
In the span of those five mins they made made one good point about the Confederate statues but then they kept talking about how Twitter was muzzling the president for his comments on the autonomous zone.... said that the problem is that "these mayors are allowing the protests”..... and that they could not believe that one of the protestors was "just standing there with a 12 gauge shotgun” (completely oblivious to the hypocrisy of celebrating those armed protestors trying to open up the state)

I just can’t believe that millions of people get their news from those people.

Well you only know the protests are happening because you watch the news, you’d hear a lot less about the protests if they stopped reporting it.

90th percentile logic!

While fox is moronic there's a little bit of a difference between the autonomous zone morons and the state capitol morons.

Horseshoe theory would like a word.

This FoxNews fascination with the CHAZ.... only proves these folks aren't there for news. Their viewers want to be given a narrative. They want to be glued to TVs for entertainment. The only thing that's real is what they see on TV. Everything else is make-believe. I can't believe they've spent days covering this one dumb event.

Oh I agree they are similar. It's why I said a little bit different. That wasn't sarcasm. The biggest difference from what I seen was the state capitol morons wanted to go to work and didn't cause any destruction, unless there's evidence to contradict that I just didn't see it. These Chaz morons are shooting people, strong arming business owners and residents, stealing each other's and others property, spray painting everything. If the state capitol morons did all of that we can have a different conversation.

It's actually a pretty big story. You know, a group of radical marxists literally taking over a portion of a major American city. That's kind of big news. And people are actually trying to copy the gameplan in other cities. They tried to do it in Richmond, VA, but the police broke it up. They tried in Nashville, but it never really got off the ground. They're camping out in NY right now. It's a story that definitely should be getting major attention.

  No, it's not. It was a story for like 30 minutes last week. Now I can see the BS.  It's not like beating a dead horse, but maybe a severely stupid one with physical problems. Is it really necessary to go on? You're not getting any more out of it. This ongoing fascination makes me wonder who or what is really behind it.

it's as big a story as those imaginary caravans of terrorists marching toward our southern border.  speaking of...we're due for another one soon.

Sounds like you need to watch more coverage on Fox News, not less, if you're that ignorant about it.

I won't turn on FoxNews if it's knowledge I am seeking. ;)

Head over to our very CHAZ's CVON thread then if you want to know who's "behind it." Spoiler alert - it's a bunch of leftists and warlord named Raz.

The irony of you mocking someone for complaining about the media is lost on no one.

Gohmert is trying to get himself kicked out of a hearing. Ladies and gentlemen, the GOP!

That's really annoying. This witness must have really damning testimony against Barr.

Trump's idea on the handling of the COVID crisis is genius!! More testing = more cases.

So lets' stop checking immigration status. Less checks = less illegals.

Stop counting terrorism deaths = no terrorism!

Wow.

I believe they are a dying breed fighting their last gasp in generational terms. I really do.

People said that when I was a kid in the 80s.  I think that's part of the problem, too many have been passive about it and dismissing them saying it will die off with older generations.  Can't sweep it under the rug anymore, have to fight against it.

I dont come across that ilk.  Ever.  You have to look under rocks to find them from my experience.

Fox News Derangement Syndrome.

I mean, the liberal media doesn't entertain or race bait or anything for attention either right, they're all about the hard news?

It's hard to find any decent news sources these days that aren't entertainment, ratings/click bait or propaganda.  And each side pretends the other is the one that's the problem.

i believe that each generation is a little less racist than the previous one....but damn, there's still a long way to go in some areas.

You're in LA?  I encountered racist skinheads in Orange County when I lived there.  I encountered racist rednecks with confederate flags living in NEPA.  Pennsylvania has a long list of hate crimes on the ACLU website.  Every state has their incidents.  We encounter racists one way or another in life, I don't believe they're all hiding under rocks.  The folks in that video were in a public place gathering with confederate flags shouting at people, not hiding under a rock.

Turn off all Cable TV news. They exist for entertainment and ratings. Is that better? Do I need to preempt all my FauxNews takes?
