It’s the nonchalant way the officer just walked around the vehicle and then shot him in the back seven times. I’m not saying it wasn’t deserved. Maybe it was. And maybe Blake is an awful person. But to see an officer act that way is something I can’t get out of my head. Almost like he really didn’t care in the slightest about what he was doing to that guy.

(they all specifically said they did not see a knife) Blake indicated after that he possessed a knife, but not that he had it when he was scuffling with officers. The statement from the DoJ does not indicate that Blake was wielding the weapon against the police. Video is inconclusive.
