there are indeed awful people on both sides. but a lone-wolf attack by a desperate man whose life is unraveling is different from a coordinated effort by a well-stocked militia.

Hodgkinson (shooter at the congressional baseball game where Scalise was shot) is more comparable to Cesar Soyuc, the Trump-supporting pipe bomb sender.

they're both bad, but I tend to think in pretty different ways.

if you want to compare this militia to something, look at the NFAC (not ef'ing around coalition) or even Antifa.

a main difference here being one side of the aisle has a president signalling to these militia groups. the other side has a candidate that has firmly, consistently, and without hesitation denounced it.

Bingo. People can downplay that all they want but facts are facts.

Lets not fall into the trap of sniffing our own a**'s... awful people on both sides.  Both sides.

Nobody is saying there aren't bad apples on the left. I disavow them at every turn and everyone here should know my feelings on BLM and SJW's. What I'm saying is the Trump camp seems to be an ever-shrinking collective of extremists and fanatics... which I can't say the same for the other side right now.

Both sides have crazies. One side condemns them or at the very least dismisses them ("antifa is an idea"). The other side actually makes heroes and icons of them. Stop trying to always both sides it. Democrats suck. However republicans are being led by a mad man who doesn't care how many people need to die in order for him to stay in power, and the vast majority of the rest of the party is willing to do his bidding if they think it will improve their own ability to hang on to power.

You realize Biden said Antifa was an idea as recently as a week ago, right?

Democrats literally bail out rioters and encourage others to do so until they realized what a bad look it was and distanced themselves.

I swear libs in here have the attention span of a house plant.

You said it wasn't your place to condemn rioting or looting, but that it "feels wrong." lmao

This, exactly this:

Yeah. I don't want rioting and looting. In a vacuum, that's wrong. But I'm also not a member of a race that sees itself as being systematically targeted by law enforcement. So I'm not going to judge someone who is that is spray painting the exterior walls of a police precinct in frustration.

You've already said, flat out, that racism and white supremacy is a hoax. So it's no surprise you don't understand the nuance of the argument.

Something republicans are incapable of doing.

This is absolutely disgusting and the lowest of the low. But that again shows the true form of this administration

KKKz downplaying and deflecting from domestic terrorists that were planning to murder cops is an interesting cliffhanger to end this episode on.

Not sure if you know this but this isn't KKKz's first rodeo sympathizing with cop killers on here.

Kz, would you have a problem with it if it was Antifa that was trying to kill Whitmer?  Just trying to understand your mindset...

Please don't think I'm downplaying it.  Not my intention.  Lock those people up and throw away the key.

You are joking right?  Or do you think antifa is "just an idea"?
