And any sane, reasonable person or politician would condemn it and expect full prosecution. However, there's also no reason to downplay the months of rioting, looting, destroying property, setting fires, attacking cars and attacking people. It doesn't matter if there's no national Antifa or an address to contact them. Silly argument. It's multiple cities and many incidents with video evidence. It is not "no big deal" and not just kids spray painting that's an ignorant thing to say even just to troll Kz. Sure, it's not entire cities just pockets, and the mobs move through neighborhoods that can be different each night. But it's been going on for months. Any violence of any kind needs to stop and all of it should be condemned by any decent person. That's what insurance is for? How heartless. Tell a small business owner sitting in front of his life's work in ashes that's what insurance is for. In some cases, insurance hasn't covered everything...not to mention time and money lost not being open for business. Biden, Harris and others HAVE said they condemn the violence. Trump has also denounced white supremacists and kkk many times. Sometimes he doesn’t because he doesn't want to lose portions of his base, to "own the left" or like a petulant child not be told what to do. The nation is a mess, plenty of blame to go around. In arguments people appear to be downplaying, playing whataboutism or are accused of defending something because there's no nuance anymore just extremes. Piss off with common sense. This is cvon!!!!

October 12, 20205 yr Second lady of PA? What kind of stupid arse title is that? I don’t think I’ve ever heard someone call the VPs wife second lady of the US. Still what happened was wrong.
October 12, 20205 yr So this is from my 'hood. In the 'burbs. Very quiet neighborhood. Guy down the street is a marine vet. Has a Trump sticker on his car. Don't really know him, aside from waving hello to him if I'm passing by and we make eye contact. Somebody put a passive-aggressive note on his car to the effect of "I noticed someone defaced your vehicle and put a Trump sticker on it. Just wanted to let you know so your neighbors didn't think you were a hateful person" Pretty petty and stupid for sure. In no way should that sort of note-leaving be endorsed. So someone decides to send out an email about the "harassment" to the entire neighborhood (probably a couple hundred people) and oh my the pearl clutching over this. Apparently "the police are investigating" this egregious act of trespassing and vandalism. I get it. It's a petty, stupid thing for someone to do. People should not feel like they can't express their political views should they choose to. But holy hell I feel like the neighborhood reaction was over the top. Am I the ish-hole here? I have a Biden sign out front. If I got some petty note on my vehicle because of the Biden sign I would just laugh. I might even scan it, blow it up, laminate it, and stick it right out there next to a "listen here Jack" Biden sign if I was feeling particularly strong about it. But calling the police? Having all the (older) neighborhood women clutch their pearls? Because what looks to be some young girl (basing this solely on the handwriting) left a stupid note? I'm sorry, but it's not the libs who are triggered.
October 12, 20205 yr I've told this story on here before, but after somebody in our old neighborhood called the cops on one of our black friends (who is actually a police officer, but was in his personal vehicle at the time), my wife called some older folks on our neighborhood Nextdoor site racists. We became pretty popular in the neighborhood after that.
