I would have 100% preferred a Fields trade over a Pickett trade. I would have preferred signing that dinosaur Joe Flacco. 
 

Hopefully this trade was made with idea that Reddick would bring back a day 2 pick somewhere.

He's a young cost-controlled backup with starting experience. 1/2 the price of a crappy Mariota. Pitt had a LOT of issues on offense with Matt Canada. They kind of F'd this kid without lube. Not a bad backup to have IMO and the cost was minimal. Would I have done it? No. But I can understand the thought process.
