Lol. People really overvalue McKee’s preseason.  Pickett had good preseasons too.

Weird cause he’s referring to Kobe in the present tense?

He didn't die in the helo crash, that's just what they want you to think.

He's actually chilling on a beach in Fiji with Tupac and Elvis.

  • For those that know me here I wanted to pass on the good news. I will be retiring from fulltime work in October of this year. Looking forward to not working 10 hour days anymore.

I choose to have a positive outlook on what's been done until the season starts and we see what we see.  Certainly not every move would have been my choice but I don't see any sense in spending months whining about what's already done

He just can't help himself from sounding **** no matter what.

The cap hit by getting rid of him was totally worth it.

You’re right WGB!

Clearly the eagles don’t care about QB. Nothing in their history for the past quarter century under Lurie would indicate an emphasis on QB.

Brilliant take!

False dichotomy

they can care and still suck at it

Would have preferred him to Parker too.

I wish the Eagles traded for Zach Wilson so everyone could gaslight me about his tremendous upside

Eagles wanted him before the draft.

Top 2 pick.

Did you see his throw at the Pro Day?!

There is no precedent for the type of ludicrous ideas you have about players going to play complete different positions. What you say makes zero sense at all and is just a waste of time for you to write and us to read. It’s never going to happen.

As far as your posts about RAS - it is not a tool to figure out cross-position ability.

Relative Athletic Score (RAS) is a metric that combines the various categories measured at the NFL Combine -- height, weight, wingspan, drill exercises -- into one aggregate number that's then contextualized against other athletes of the same position.

What you said contributed nothing,  I know how ras works,  however,  it wasn't a completely content-free sack of ad hominem.

I've heard a version of "I don't like it,  but I can't formulation an argument to specifically express why"  for many years on many boards.

Ras allows you to take any 2 players,  playing any 2 positions,  and compare them as if they were both playing the same position.    For the most part,  the advantage of using ras is that you can just put 2 sets of data on the same page. typically,  I'm comparing 2 players who play the same position and comparing them to others who also play the same position.  I'll compare a rb and a wr as a wr or a rb.  you can't put rb as rb on the same page as wr as wr,  you have to pick one.    I'm not sure why this is difficult to understand,  but maybe it is.   2 sets of data are placed next to each other and a comparison to a larger set happens too. Once people know that's what's happening,  it's easy enough to figure it out

for the most part,  people here aren't making too many data based arguments,  there are a lot of arguments people hear on the media, repeated.  Some are doing that,   but mostly not.  I'm definitely throwing combine and pro day data out there,  and at other times,  putting out PFF data.   I've noticed very few people know the various Eagles who played LB last year.  There were 5.  Possibly more.  That piece of data generally is a difficult one.

But he has a better chance of being coached up on the Eagles. And to play with more talent if Hurts gets hurt.

Taking the longer view, the Eagles are a better situation than the Steelers, low pressure with a top OC where he can learn for two years and be ready when the next starting opportunity comes along.

TBH, I think Pickett could end up being pretty decent…I think Big Ben masked how truly terrible the Steelers O staff was for years.  Tomlin has 2 seasons tops left there after this move.

Do you know WHY you’ve heard this "for many years on many boards?”

Because you’re essentially this message board’s equivalent of the dirty homeless man on the corner ranting and raving about the Rapture, lizard people, or crop circles.

Putting Nolan Smith at WR for example makes me feel you should be evaluated for mental illness.

You are the most pure example of Dunning-Kruger syndrome I’ve ever had the opportunity to observe. Look it up.

Why would I want that? Because Pickett is god awful and I would want the better QB (McKee) to be the #2 in case we need the backup to play.

You could have just posted this instead.

Looked cooked at the end of last year.

For as much as I dislike AJ sometimes for his antics, AJ is a saint compared to that petulant child.  Diggs single handedly cost the Bills a chance at a SB this year with his complete lack of effort in their loss to the Chiefs.

No way Howie didn’t check on the availability and price of BOTH before he made a decision.

Per Solak: of 315 QBs with 500 pass attempts or more, Kenny Picket is dead last in TD% per passes thrown.
