Per Solak: of 315 QBs with 500 pass attempts or more, Kenny Picket is dead last in TD% per passes thrown.

Hell yeah. He's the Devin White of QBs.

Wait...

  • For those that know me here I wanted to pass on the good news. I will be retiring from fulltime work in October of this year. Looking forward to not working 10 hour days anymore.

Ok I love the Barkley deal

Knew and called Pickett being low character when he bounced on his team to skip their Bowl game.

With the Devin and Kenny acquisitions...

Maybe Howie is suffering from White Pickett Fence syndrome.

But he's got starting experience and he's cheap

Good enough for me and no Matt Canadan

TBH, I think Pickett could end up being pretty decent…I think Big Ben masked how truly terrible the Steelers O staff was for years.  Tomlin has 2 seasons tops left there after this move.

They fired the OC during the season, they had a RB who took half the season to bench for a better player, and one WR (Pickens), the rest of the offense skill players were marginal, the OL was below average pass blocking. Not a good situation for a young QB.

PIckett made the right move getting out of there, Wilson isn't going to fix it, but who wants to be the #2, then when Wilson falters, get thrown into a bad situation where you just deep six your reputation further. In Philly he'll work with an OC who knows how to build a passing game and teach him to read NFL defenses. He's better spending a couple years on the bench, learning how to play QB, and being ready to shine if Hurts goes down - Love did this in GB and it turned out pretty good for him.

Not a big fan of Pickett but the deal is pretty cheap and so is the salary hit.  Eagles OL should be better and the starting skill players are too.

Can someone explain why people are so upset at this move? We literally moved back 22 spots and gave up two 7th round picks. Pickett is still on his rookie deal and is going to cost way less than the normal backup QB. Hell, look what we’ve paid Chase Daniels and Mariota in the past. Pickett is decent, not bad at all for a backup. And id like to see what he does in this offense compared to that crap in Pittsburgh before we all jump off a cliff😂

Bc you had a backup qb already for even less

So combine this stat with the one of Parker being league worst at creating separation four years running.  If Parker ever gets open in the end zone and catches a TD from Pickett, we should probably see if Bud Light will spring for another statue.

That explains my career path, if nothing else.

My story is the opposite. I have no idea how I ended up where I am today.

McKee?  He looked good in some 3rd string preseason action. Good developmental piece but none of us can say right now if he's ready to be a backup or not. Clearly the FO doesn't think he is.

Yea my post was sarcasm lol

Protecting the future VP

Tyron Smith & Aaron Rodgers is DEADLY together if the year is 2014

But honestly that’s a good short term pickup for them. Wonder who the pick will be at 10 since they grabbed Smith & Moses as their tackles. WR maybe? Bowers? Maybe Arnold or Mitchell?

People got way over their skis with McKee.

They should call their OL the Secret Service

Yeah, it’s reasonable to say he could eventually be QB2 but feels premature & risky to put him there now. While I’m not crazy about the Pickett trade, I am more comfortable with him as a spot starter over McKee

$72,000 less for a guy who has never thrown a pass in an NFL game. That’s what you want for a backup?

How frugal of you!

Up to $20M!

Dallas lost two key OL this off-season.
