  • For those that know me here I wanted to pass on the good news. I will be retiring from fulltime work in October of this year. Looking forward to not working 10 hour days anymore.

He was supposed to be visiting them but haven’t heard if he did yet.

He visited and then posted a laughing emoji after. My guess is he didn’t like the offer.

So, why was he playing?

Sure,  you've got me beat on "laughing memes"

And Outlaw is outstanding at daily personal attacks without punishment whatsoever.

But I did post a short 5-10 player list of udfas here and/or the other Eagles site, VanSumeren was on it,  they did take him,  and he was the best ILB last year as a udfa rookie.

Also,  last year,  same thing,  but Ravens and Keaton Mitchell,  who had the best PFF of any running back last year.

Very few of you are even here on day 3,  very few are pushing out a wish list of free udfas.    Thumbs up to the handful that are here and are paying attention to the players who are not famous.

I don't see too many people tooting their own horn here,  because so few of you are talking about players who aren't famous.  So many of you praise yourself by saying things like "I didn't attack players the Eagles decided to get as much as the rest of the people here."   Not impressive.

I mentioned Covey before the 2022 draft,  VanSumeren during the 2023 draft.

Why don't ALL OF YOU combine your quality ufda picks - add them all together - and we'll see if I have better output,  or if all of you combined have better output?

What I've done,  just here on this site seems to have surpassed everyone combined,  and I do it elsewhere and have done it often.

If there was a prize for attacking the team you supposedly like,  you'd win that, not you specifically, but collectively,  but that's not something to be proud of at all.

Show the outcomes,  the obscure players you found.

As a Browns fan back in 2016,  I had a really really close approximation of the 2 stage trade that got the Eagles the Wentz pick.

Collectively,  EMB doesn't like me.  That's fine.  I don't care when,  largely,  not all that great people don't like me.

You personally attack all of us with every long winded diatribe you post. You’re not an Eagles fan. In fact, you routinely insult all Eagles fans. We don’t want you here. Go back to the Ravens or Browns board and take your merit badges with you,  DK.

So, you were a Browns fan in '16... are currently also a Ravens fan, while posting here about how all Eagles fans suck.

I call BS on you.  Browns fans hate all things Ravens, everything Ravens for all time and would never be friends with a Ravens fan, let alone ever become a Ravens fan themself.

He’s nothing but a loser who thinks because he writes paragraph long posts that he knows anything about our team or the sport.

Was he ever in the EMB draft?

Don’t believe so.

"Roseman, meanwhile, privately told those close to him during the draft process two years ago that he believed Pickett could be the next Justin Herbert.”

Ha, maybe he is just as good as Herbert!

Imagine how doomed we would have been if he was in it 😂 no way we can compete with his superior draft knowledge

So I guess we’re actually keeping Bradberry

It always made the most sense to do that cap wise but just make him compete for a job and if he doesn't earn a starting spot then just keep him for depth.

Kempski made a good point that might as well just rip the band aid off now by cutting him, but I also agree with this logic. Fangio can maybe get a bounce back season with him

Dude is 5th in line for snaps after Reddick, Huff, BG, Sweat.

No other way to look at it.  He might get less time in year 2 than year 1.  If that’s not a completely wasted pick, what is?

He was a rookie with a bad shoulder. One would hope he's all healed up and starts to eat into BGs snaps at the least. Further we don't know if Reddick sticks around. Hope he does. Too premature to call him a wasted pick. Many said the same of BG.

What's the point of ripping of the band aid though as long as you are willing as an organization to play younger lesser paid players above him if they earn it?  Not like Bradberry is some malcontent or half ass effort guy.  All accounts and what we saw after the Super Bowl is an extremely mature, accountable and level headed veteran.  Honestly wasn't like was getting toasted last season, he was just a hair off in almost all occasions.  His instincts are still there but his speed and quickness, of that he had originally, is not there at all anymore.  I'll take someone of his virtue, expertise and natural instincts even as a bottom of the depth chart guy with him losing a full step of speed over taking a cap hit just to get rid of him.  Who knows, maybe under a fresher pass rush he is able to make plays instead of letting them be made on him by a hair second too late.  He also had a very important game impacting interception this past year.  He's not completely washed. Physically washed yes, but mentally not at all.  Ride him out at the bottom of the depth chart and as a character guy. He just needs CJGJ to not let him get shoved around pregame by the 49ers and the rest of the soft Eagles secondary just watches and does nothing.

Ha, maybe he is just as good as Herbert!

One is 30-32 as a starter, the other is 14-10.

Pretty interesting interview with Matt Light; not surprisingly he didn’t have much good to say about his experiences with Aaron Hernandez.  He also throws a bit of shade at Mahomes and Travis Kelce:

Howie Roseman has certainly played the Game of Thrones of the Eagles franchise better than any other individual in franchise history.  The whole Chip Kelly arc and how Howie took back power and the run he has had since is purely mythical if we had not witnessed it all ourselves.  He is without a doubt anywhere from 1-3 in the Eagles structure of decision making and power (Lurie, Julian, Howie).  But in his scheming ways he has setup a season where the 3 pillars are up for dissection after this upcoming season.

If they don't make the NFC title game it will be at least 1 if not 2 of the 3 pillars cut from rotation.  It would only be 3 if Julian is the true winner of the Eagles Game of Thrones or if Jeff just went a Jerry level of senile.  But either they succeed or fall short but Howie with his out of normal very high activity and breaking established norms FA hiring has set a table where a major powerplay is about to unfold between Roseman, Sirianni and Hurts.  Will be fascinating but history is telling us this upcoming season likely won't play out as well as the past 3.

The fact that RTK is so worked up over our backup QB makes me like the move just a tick more.
