This team is so predictable. We'll find out Sirianni isn't getting fired between 4 and 5 today.

Of course they wait for Philadelphia to be outside shoveling snow.

  • For those that know me here I wanted to pass on the good news. I will be retiring from fulltime work in October of this year. Looking forward to not working 10 hour days anymore.

Thought Jobe was serviceable in his time starring.  Was surprised he didn't get more snaps later in the season.

Jobe was serviceable and looked better than Ricks. Josiah Scott played one of his best games ever against the Dolphins and they cut him. I'll never understand their roster management.

So basically, ESP wants the entire secondary back

I thought we had a rule about his stuff...  :nonono:

So what. Make the right decision.

The Eagles do a lot well as an organization. The one thing they do poorly is how they handle coaching dynamics.

Giving power to Chip, then firing him when it backfired.

Saying Doug is staying, then firing him later when you change your mind. Then getting a late start to the search and settling for like your 6th choice as head coach.

Demoting Desai, giving it to Patricia and having your season fall apart.

I don't expect them to do the right thing here, but I'm still hoping. I don't trust them with coaching related matters.

If he is staying, I doubt they make any formal announcement. Will just leak out, or we'll see reports of coordinator interviews.

Only Jerry Jones feels the need to make a formal announcement that he ISN'T firing a coach.

Yeah.  I agree.  They should make the right decision.

Yea, I don't expect a PC or for them to release a statement. It will be a Schefter/Rappoport tweet.

I'm not actually Julian, I don't have that power.

I forgot about Aaron Glenn. I think he's going to be a fantastic head coach

I don't, he's not even a good coordinator. Both him and Fangio were thoroughly mediocre this season.

Slay should come back. He was not bad this year. Overpaid? Sure. But he's still a starting CB. LB/S are bigger issues than CB1/2.

CB2 can't be Bradberry, though.  There are guys who can't cover or tackle, but Bradberry didn't even try to tackle.  IMO Bradberry and Maddox should be the post-June 1 cuts.

I get the sentiment to cut bradberry but why increase the cap damage? Keep him as depth and hope for a bounceback

I don't think the cap matters as much as we the fans think. The best thing Howie does is contract and cap work.

A TD is a TD. No different than when Reid runs the goal line shovel passes to inflate QB passing TDs or pick plays to get wide open passing TDs. I don't see anyone discounting those. The shove is pretty much a guarantee unless Hurts fumbles or gets his head ripped off.

Yeah, no.  All of the brother shoves were like from the 1 or the 2, and should have been the job of a goal line specialist.  It's not the same as a passing TD.  I agree, both are valuable, but they are not the same.

Is the feeling we find out Sirianni's fate before tomorrow?

Sounds like Sports Illustrated is no more.

Oh no, we are going to lose Patricia.

I’m really bummed about it. Such an iconic brand. I’m so happy the Eagles won a Super Bowl while they still printed magazines. I have the Eagles’ Super Bowl cover framed in my basement.

As long as Ringo, Jobe, McPhearson, Ricks, and Rodgers are all given a true opportunity to earn CB2 I'm ok with them keeping Bradberry as a depth piece. But if they plan to just hand him CB2, then F no. Hit the road. This team needs to start giving younger guys opportunities where the "vets" clearly aren't cutting it.

My offseason needs: LB x2, S x2, EDGE, WR3, RB, TE2

Yup. We have Ringo outside. Still need to draft CB 3 to compete with Rodgers.

Which cover do you have? I have the Foles holding the trophy one. Also have the Randall Monday Night one in a frame. When I was in middle school I made my entire bedroom wall a collage of my favorite covers. Wish I didn't cut them all up and then throw away when I grew up.

The anticipation for the mail growing up...

Today I learned that with the Lions victory last weekend, the team with the longest drought now of not winning a playoff game is the Miami Dolphins. 23 years and counting. Holy crap.

I also saw a tweet that it was the 4th loudest game in NFL history...if I'm remembering that information right.
