It would be nice to have a WR3 with a pulse. I know you can’t have pro bowlers at every position and AJ and DeVonta are two great options. But Quez, OZ, and Julio were just traffic cones out there last season. A competent WR3 could do some damage in this offense with four other guys drawing attention between AJ, DeVonta, Goedert, and now Saquon. A speedster with solid hands is all I’m asking for and Parker isn’t that.

Claiming to be a Browns fan, while also claiming to be a Ravens fan raised the red flag higher than it ever has been.   He's a troll.

Yea that’s probably last time I’ll engage with him.

Brings back a memory/funny thing Bill Parcells said about Roy Williams…”biscuit short of being a linebacker”. I think Williams playing weight was 235 or more…safeties have definitely gotten smaller, but so have linebackers.

A few different reasons but the 4 and 5 receiver sets and pass happy offenses off the last two decades are the primary reasons.

Gone are the days of Steve Atwater and Ronnie Lott having to tackle Christian Okoye, Bettis, or the like…is D Henry the biggest back in the league now?

Yeah... the modern day passing attack has changed the game. Particularly the emphasis on the 5 yard rule changed everything for defenses IMO. DBs and LBs used to get away with bullying receivers if they could get their hands on them. Plus there was a lot of ground and pound back in the day that necessitated bigger LBs and Safeties that could get through the trash and get off of blocks. Now the best LBs out there are for the most part rather small and safeties are built like Corners.

This was a good watch.

Kind of an exaggeration or reach from this guy.  I don't know why it would be such a big deal to hear Foles name called during that play by play.

It's probably some kind of audio issue.

Very likely could be. With KJ you get a guy that's very good in the slot and younger. Just makes much more sense to me than a guy who struggles to get separation and is more suited for the outside.

I'm guessing they have their eyes on someone in the draft. This draft is loaded with WRs. I wouldn't be totally upset if they picked one high. I know everyone is like defense defense defense... but we saw how our pretty stacked defense fared in the Super Bowl (i know but but the field was a mess). Gotta be able to stack them points these days especially against the likes of Mahomes.

And lots of slot guys. They have an extra 2nd and if they use it on a McConkey or a Wilson or a Corley, I’m ok with that

I'm sure they do, but I'd still prefer KJ Osborne to Parker. It's not like they broke the bank for him.

Let's not cloud this. Parker is going to be a number 4 receiver here. Should be mainly a 3rd down and red zone specialist. And serve as a good vet and fill-in/insurance if someone gets hurt. At the minimum vet price he's a no brainer. Also a long big target for Hurts in tight spots.  Like to see if he can carve out a Jason Avant type role. And get clutch on us. Had no faith in any receivers not named Brown or Smith the last couple years. This a very nice addition. We haven't signed or drafted our number 3 WR yet.

Have we had a red zone specialist over the last decade? We always hear about these guys the Eagles bring in who should be RZ mismatches and it never happens. JJAW was this unstoppable RZ threat, Goedert was going to be a huge RZ mismatch and so on. I don't think I can even remember the last time the Eagles made a play in the RZ where I said, wow what a weapon that is.

Who's going to be the gained 20 lbs of muscle, best shape of their life player this year?

I was agreeing with you.

I apologize. It was clear to me that you and I were in agreement and my follow-up post was not clear in that regard.

Part of me wishes Jalen would lose weight and try to up his speed so he'll take less hits.

We have a RZ weapon.   He wears Number 1.   That's the guy they like to use.

$55M cap number is insane for ANY player, under any circumstances.
